Firefly was a great Sci-Fi TV show which lasted about 1 season before the goons at FOX saw that it was good and killed it. Apparently, they showed all the episodes in the wrong order at a crap time. Firefly was described as a 'western in space' (which was a bit misleading) and was created Joss Whedon, the creator of Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Apparently there's a DVD coming out with all the episodes on, hurray.

"Firefly was a unique show which the bastards at FOX decided was too good just like Futurama and Family Guy and just had to get rid of it. Bastards."

Amen.

"A news program that is the most sensationalist of all of the 24 hour news channels. Again, FOX NEWS has experienced high viewership due to its unparalleled ability to catch the eye of the imbecile with ridiculously exaggerated reporting and other tactics aimed at getting viewers first, and giving correct, unbiased, factual news second. Also a perfect example of how the media, in all actuality, is much more conservative than liberal. The common misconception that the media is liberal is based on surveys that asked anchors, reporters, and other people that are on the camera to give their political affiliation. The survey should have been done on the big businessmen that own everything, who are the people that get to decide what gets on the air and who gets to keep their jobs."

Okay, so according to this Urban Dictionary, I'm an imbecile who watches un-factual news and FNC is the norm rather than the exception. Please! These guys are obviously Liberals to make such remarks!

And everyone knows, if you label someone as a liberal, you can immediately discount any statement they make with complete impunity.

My feeling on the polital leanings of the Media is that sometimes reality becomes so obvious and undeniable that even the Big Business controlled news outlets have to report some of it; this is reffered to as "Liberal Media Bias."

Myself, I'm a member of the radical middle, IE Libertarian, and don't see much difference between the Republicrats and the Demigogues. Proof positive of this was the six weeks of elective gridlock during the last Presidential election -- I don't care who won Florida by count, the point was, the winning margin was smaller than the nationwide statistical error!*

As for Fox news, my fair and balanced viewpoint is that most of these turkeys could't report their way out of a brown paper bag.

Gee. That sounds dangerously opinionated. Somebody better declare me a liberal, so they can ignore me.

Funny link! Thanks. Honestly, though, I didn't need any affirmation from other Firefly fans to know that Fox is filled with know-nothing DFMs in the driver's seat...

They can have my "Firefly" DVDs when they pry them from my cold, dead fingers....
