Hey fellow browncoats, with all the new members and what seems to be generally positive Firefly movie indications, I thought it would be good to post the link to that awesome Firefly: The Movie trailer created by Mothman.

Here's the link

Hope it works, I watched it 3 times before I could tear myself away to make this post.

Enjoy

Excellent, well done to whoever made that. One small critisium though, I'm pretty confident the film will come out in 2005 not 2004 but I'm being really picky here. Nice inclusion of a bit of sex to garner a wider audience.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

I downloaded this and watch it all the time. Mothman did a truly excellent job w/ this trailer.

Not too bad, but there could have been more footage from the series in there.

Good editing.. liked the flow.. just couldn't get past the fact that the music didnt fit IMO.

Very well done. Wish it included more clips than just "Serenity" though.

Very good-- perhaps the music was a little heavy, and the movie is definitely targeted for 2005, but those are nit-picks.

If you're not working in the industry yet, Mothman, you should be.

I just wanted to throw in my 2 credits worth. That there is a fine looking trailer. I also feel that the music was actually appropriate in that trailers-normally-tend-to-have-over-the-top-music sort of way.
As much as I'd love to see the movie as soon as possible, wouldn't want to see it rushed to get out in '04. Probably best to let the project have as much time as necessary to be as good as possible. Just my opinion though.
Good job Metro/Moth-man!!

I also liked it. I think the only thing missing was The Movie Dude's Voice. You know who I mean... he does ALL the movies. Most of them start out... "In a world..."

Oh, wonderful!! I can't imagine anyone not wanting to see this movie, regardless of their previous involvment in the series. If Universal Pictures takes a page out of this guys book and doesn't screw around with the predetermined characters, Serenity (if that's what the film is called in the end) will be incredible. And wow, what great music too!!!!

hehehe, how about this...

"In a 'verse, turned upside down, ravaged by war.
Only One man, One crew, One ship, can take up
the challenge of self survival. No job too
small, they will take on whatever it takes
to make it through, and have another day..."

cue over the top music.
