Of course, just 'cause the babies are due at these times doesn't mean it'll happen that way. I was due at about the same time as one of my cousins and there ended up being almost a month between us.

*Distracted by viewing choices* Do I go with the Stargate collection (10 seasons of SG-1, 5 of Atlantis and 1 of Infinity, plus the 3 movies), or the BSG collection, or the Tremors collection (4 films and 13 episodes of the TV series), or just watch all of Zim?

Wow .. 2 really late nights ..

Yesterday, went to bed at 3 (was gonna pull an all-nighter, but gave up) then was up at half 6. && its 1 AM now, and I still have stuff to do. College is grueling.

EDIT: Plus, Nico is right .. not many babies come when they are due. My brother did, but he's special. My other brother was only a day early. And I'm debatable ... my mother and the doctor didn't agree on the due date ...

Your EDC (Estimated Date of Confinement, [also known as EDD " " Delivery]) is just that, a rough guess based on an average gestation of 40 weeks.

"Due date" is not a predictor of birthdays.

Some come sooner, others later, once in a while you get it spot on but the odds are probably better at craps.

ZIM! Obey the FIST!!!

Followed by BSG (reimagined), then Stargate.

...wait. What's Stargate: Infinity?

ALSO! Found my way to the Post Office. Delivery imminent. Well, imminenter than childbirth. ^__^

Yes, the pants command me to watch Zim.

Infinity was a single season on FOX (sound familiar?) of 20 min long animated episodes. Haven't actually watched more than 5 mins of it yet, so I couldn't really tell you the storyline, other than it contains original characters, rather than those from SG-1/SG-Å.

Only problem I foresee with watching BSG is getting distracted by Zeppo's shiny-ness whenever he's onscreen (although that happens in some of the Stargate stuff as well).

I'm lousy at explaining myself at times, that's kind of what I point out to people but the prevailing attitude seems to be that it her job.

But then people confuse me, as do babies but only because they're small and I'm a klutz, which doesn't strike me as a good combination.

Just received this from a frind which made me laugh, although it doesn't work quite as well on a forum (and an international one at that!), still couldn't resist sharing!

We are in DEEP trouble...

The population of this country is

approximately 60 million.

32 million are retired.

That leaves 28 million to do the work.

There are 17 million in school or at Universities.

Which leaves 11 million to do the work.

Of this there are 8 million employed by the UK government.

Leaving 3 million to do the work.

1.2 million are in the armed forces preoccupied with killing Osama Bin-Laden, and fighting in Afghanistan , etc .

Which leaves 1.8 million to do the work.

Take from that total the 0.8 million people who work for Local County Councils. And that leaves 1 million to do the work.

At any given time there are 488,000 people in hospitals or claiming Invalidity Benefit.

Leaving 512,000 to do the work.

Now, there are 511,998 people in prisons.

That leaves just two people to do the work.

You and me.

And there you are,

Sitting on your arse,

At your computer, reading jokes.

Is it any wonder that we are in such a mess and that I am stressed out trying to cope on my own?

Gannon's ice cream stand is the bestest. Arctic Island's pretty good too.

They are within a block of each other, but Gannon's also has the Shady Brook store about two miles in the direction I go for groceries which tends to be less crowded so they get more of my money. Plus I like their ice cream bettererest.

They do an incredibly rich pumpkin in fall, apple pie in apple season, and the black forest truffle is a perennial fave. They've got pretzel logic this year, which reminds me of chubby hubby excepting where it's chocolate with a huge peanutbutter ribbon. Basically I have not had a flavor I haven't liked A LOT there.
