OMG I hate financial idiots. We go and lay people off and then turn around and contract the work out and then they come back and complain to use about the bill. Well morons you were working a salaried employee to death without having to pay overtime. Now you have to pay for that. This is your fault not ours.

Sounds like a huge issue the government has had for a very long time. Security supplied by civilian contractors is so far more expensive than having regular military do it. Yet there is so much spent on civilian contracts for not only security but communication, human services, and construction at an inflated rate. But that is the way special interests go. Give the contract to your buddies company and let them make some money. We have that here. The Good Ol' Boy System. Substandard work, inflated cost, and renewal of contracts are a regular occurance in the Good Ol' Boy System.

Well to make our system even more ridiculous it's not actually external contractors. It's really just another department in the same company but since we don't own the people we have to pay for the work as they size it. So, they decided to lay one person off from one department in order to ship money to some other department for the same work and pay for like 3 of their people. I'm sure they're all patting themselves on the backs over how much money they saved too.

Sometimes nepotism is fun... well ok in my dad's company pretty much all support employees are either a kid of one of the partners or a family member or friend. Since it's a really small company it works pretty well... plus it's the only job I ever had where I need time off to study was considered legit:)

To be fair guys only act that way cause we know what we're like. Honestly if women got a chance to live in an adolescent male's mind for a week I think they'd run for the hills. So, don't take it like your brothers don't trust you. They just don't trust guys in general.

After seeing watchmen I wouldn't really say it's too unfair that it got rated 18. It wound have earned that rating based on the amount of nudity and sex on top of the violence I imagine. Violence doesn't get ratings as high as it used to on its own. Though it is pretty violent.

As for the protective older brother thing, as an older brother I can say, tis cause we actually do think we're doing good. Though by most standards I'm a very unprotective older brother.

Lol. I know some people who took the whole morning off to go see it en masse, and some people who have lock out for a patch coming up on Monday and actually have to, you know, work.

And then there's me, who's been sitting in comfy house clothes all day and hasn't showered yet, working on several of my projects and and random stuff for a Chinese client. I'm going to the early matinee tomorrow, hehe.

And I did get your PM, though the email it gets sent through is wonky, so it's a crap shoot every time -- I've gotten one from you in the last three months maybe? Hopefully you haven't been sending tons.

But I did get the one. I just came by and lurked and didn't have time to post. But on that note --

Congrats MsA and NVG! Awesome news!

Well the bbq will be served by hot women in skimpy outfits if it makes you feel any better. Also I think I see about one movie every other month or less these days because of the crap that hollywood keeps churning out. There's really not much to choose from most of the time.

I'd say that it got the rating it deserved. This woman brought her two kids to see it, not sure if she knew what it was about or not, but they couldn't have been more than 5 and 7 years old.

After she didn't take them out after the first 15 minutes I wanted to yell out "What the hell is wrong with you?".

OMG I thought the same thing, ZEROKIRYU. There were little kids all over the place in my theater and I was like "holy hell this is violent". Parents should have been grabbing their kids and leaving pretty darn early in that film.

I'm glad I'm desensitized to violence though. Cause some of those scenes were pretty brutal. That is a guy's night movie if I've ever seen one though. I won't ruin it but some of those scenes were like blatant "guy's perspective!!!" scenes.

yeah getting it checked will let you figure out what you're allergic to so you can avoid it and give you meds that will make you feel better... as long as it's not a severe reaction you don't have to medicate it, but if your lips feel numb or your tongue swells go to the ER
