Hello!

*giggles in anticipation of the shock her sudden appearance may cause*

It's Australia Day today and I went up to London and bought some of my favourite snacks, Twisites!!!

Jimi-bear remembers those, don't you...? Jimi-bear...? Jimi...??

Ah, well, how's my twin brother doing? You got some sleep?!? You're doing something wrong then! I hope you're taking your turn to do some nappy changes during the night... at the weekend anyway!

*Hugs her li'l sis and her tall li'l brother!!* How's life in NV?

It's 10pm here, and I am winding down, but I am feeling good, which is terrific since I had a splitting headache most of the day!

*sips her glass of Australian wine and hums the National Anthem!*

Living in a nightmare is worse. If you're living in a nightmare, you're dealing with all the insanities that are happening, and once the "nightmare" part is done, you still have to deal with the aftermath and recovery.

Being a nightmare on the other hand, means that you tend to be the one to cause the havoc and leave the recovery and everything else to someone else to deal with.

Your nightmares sound interesting Navy. Almost fairy-tale-like, if they seem like cool movies looking back.

Not questioning your dedication at all. Just wondering if you've got the two pubs you have confused is all. *shrug* I know that I've gotten conversations between here and the Imponderables mixed up (and that's on the same site).

ok guys just to get the record straight, by being a nightmare I mean exactly that. The thing that goes bump in the night, the image that scares little boys and girls, the girl/guy that parents pray their son/daughter does not bring home.

At the worse part about it is that no matter what you do, that image of you can never change, basically you become whatever it is that that person fears. For you are a nightmare, ever changing ever lasting.

Kel: Gorramit...it was supposed to be "old barbot" (you haven't been using those in ages so :P'').
*snerk* Sure! Come to Hawaii! Nearly everyone's vision of paradise1. Warm, muti-cultural, lots of sun, plenty of water2, lots of outdoor activities....

HK: *offers more hugs* Thank you ninjakitty. *smiles* Life post-teaching-insanity is pretty much the opposite of life during teaching-insanity. Lots of time to do whatever, much more happiness and sanity, less money3. Hate the being near broke part, but I'd rather that than be the way I was during the insanity.

Zero: Hey stranger! I hardly see you here...

Navy: So I've become weak... and I like it! *tongue* Much more fun to be sane.

Aisling: Actually, it's only chilly here...and I don't live in the core world thankyouverymuch...

MsA: I don't think I could do it well either....but that's also why I'd end up sleeping for at least half my weekends last school year (and almost all of the vacation time, and for months afterwards *sigh*).

*sics the reprogrammed barbot to start randomly glomping Kel starting with a full-force Shampoo (from Ranma 1/2) glomp4*

1. If you like being on a rock in the middle of an ocean where everything costs at least 1.5 times more than the mainland US, where life is affected by the whims of tourism, travelling within the state requires an airplane...hey, but we've got lots of stars that come to work/hang out that make the tourists so happy....
2. Lots and lots of ocean water...
3. That's what I get for deciding to quit just as the economy takes a plunge -- no easy to find jobs around. ('Course it doesn't help that I needed to not work to regain some of my sanity...)
4. If you haven't read any of it, you should...Rumiko Takahashi wrote Ranma 1/2 (among other mangas -- Urusei Yastura, Maison Ikkoku, InuYasha, etc.) and is credited with the creation of the glomp in her manga. Real-life glomps belong to someone else....
