NAVYSEILS

There are quite a few browncoats on this here site from the british isles. I'm sure I remember seeing a similar thread to this a few times before though, so you're not the only one who's had trouble spotting them.

As for me, I'm another Glasgow based Browncoat.

Yeah there have been a couple of threads before but it's always nice to remind the colonies that we are still about.

My body is based just outside of Leicester, my mind is another matter....

I'm yet another one - the Starfury forums are a good place to see the British Browncoats still active in fandom.

I'm a Browncoat from Margate, Kent. Have Firefly buddies in Manchester, Hemel Hempstead and Watford but they only come out into the Black with me when we go to conventions to meet our shiny heroes. Anything to Keep Flyin'...

Cambridge Browncoat right here, man.
But I spend most of my time in the Liverpool area.
We should keep eachother in the know about any UK shindig stylings going down, I reckon.
For sure.

Oh, there are plenty of us kicking around :-)

Not everyone is on this board though.

The UK Board stays active with all the usual suspects much of the time (many of whom are lovely folk to get drunk with, don't get me wrong), but is handy for when something Firefly related actually happens like shindigs or CSTS screenings.

There's also the British thread over at the Universal HD Firefly forum, but it's fairly quiet at the moment.

Then there are quite a few UK Browncoats over on The Signal's forum ( http://fireflydvd.com/phpBB2/index.php) who don't tend to post anywhere else.

There must be lots of others too if attendance at any of the past UK Firefly cons is anything to go by.

Plus of course all those here :-)

I will always post any shindiggery or CSTS-y related items here as soon as I hear of them if nobody does it first.

Nick
(The Signal podcast itself has 3 Brits working on it! I'm from the Banbury area, Jill is near MK and Helen is in Tanzania...but is British. Plus Sending A Wave is an all British podcast...apart from Odile who is French but lives in Brum :-)

Another Glasgow Browncoat.

Also, there is actually a forum called UK Browncoats - http://www.cantstopthesignal.co.uk/forums/ - which is where I'm mostly at. There and livejournal where there are again, plenty of UK Browncoats to be found ^___^
