Been Away For A Spell...

Well, to start, I've been a long time member here, but I'm guilty of not posting in a long while. Been busy, like everyone else. I sat down recently and rewatched Firefly from episode one through Serenity. This 'verse and these characters were every bit as good as I remembered. I had the renewed feeling of being angry/sad/appalled that this show didn't get the chance it deserved. (Especially given some of what is on TV- I offer the CW as an example...Did we REALLY need another 90210?!) I guess my point is this 'verse feels like home, and the sight of Serenity's rusty hull still makes me smile. There's something about Firefly that pulls you in. It's like Kaylee told Book, "You're gonna come with us."

I still check in here occasionally. Always hoping to hear something about another movie or series run. Sometimes to see what the old peeps are talking about. Haven't bothered posting because no one ever much liked hearing what I had to say.

Makes any difference to anyone, I'm back in the Army, home on leave right this second, but I actually leave back for Iraq tonight. Also, I got married.
