Serenity Won a Prize!

It's state fair time around the nation and Serenity has won a prize at the NC State Fair.

I was browsing the web site for WRAL, the main TV station in the state capital and guess what I saw!

Go to the second picture and you'll see Serenity in all her glory. The needle (person, man, woman?) is obviously a Browncoat.

I looked on the site , and the picture is there , but it's pretty small...

Still , it's apparent that the work is exquisite !

The WRAL site says this :

" I was tickled to see that one of the needle work competition entries -- it won second place -- shows the ship Serenity from the TV series Firefly. It was done by Merrie B. Burnett of Raleigh. The picture I took doesn't do it justice; the needlework was very detailed. "

If you haven't done it before , some folk hereabouts (myself included) can help with getting it done...
