Morning all,

so sat here at ten on a Sunday Morning, clocks went back last night so I was actually out of bed at half six this morning to go for a run, yikes!

Excellent holiday in Wales; walking, castles/iron age burial chambers and saw some wildlife including kestrel, seals and apparently dolphins although to far for me to see anything other than grey blobs.

Have managed to do the finances, sort out training stuff and apply to do next years OU course and thanks to some financial buggering about have two new pair of glasses at last and can see properly for the first time in months!

Off for food shopping as there is nothing in the fridge!

FLT in England( well and Ireland, Scotland, or Wales) when they say "holiday" it translates to our term "vacation" Hope that helps

HUGS all.nice crisp lovely fall day ( though I wish there would be rain later) NV's out with his new rifle( he left at 6:30am so I stayed home and slept in) so I'm relaxing and then maybe a bit of a clean and some reading in my lovely squashy chair

Well ours is notable for being called football but not actually having feet in contact with the ball ( except for the kicker)
Theirs is definitely more physcially demanding as it's played in 45 min chuncks and no time outs and a player can't go out and come back in..you're in you stay in. So 45 minutes of running as fast as you can with bouts of kicking, jumping and other such stuff...
BTW is Sheffield United doing any better Gee ( yes I know ridiculous of me to back them, but I do love an underdog)

played lots of sports and all had their challenges, American football is tough because of the hits and the fact that there is no natural movement in the game, I find it particularly hard as played CB/ocasional safety and the tackling is very different so found it very hard to stop playing rugby, which I did a lot a school, football can be very tough on the knees and ankles like basket ball but for very different reasons and it tooke me years to get over a tripple jump injury, which is just the stupedist sport for legs there is...

As for sheffield Utd, in the playoff position in the Champioship (v old second division) so not too bad, as opposed to the Bengals, who are my Amercian Football team who are going to go 0-8 by the looks of things, and Chelsea lost to Liverpool, going off sport lol

bed now.

Catch you in the morning

I'd just like to take a moment to highlight the above post from MsB,
because some of you may not truly comprehend the depth of her words.

You see, MsB hates Teh Mathz.

Hates.

So, for her to use a mathematical term
when describing how boring something is to her... well.
That's just downright impressive.

Last week was pretty cool. Got to meet a lot of folks I only talk with in e-mails and on the phone.

Also had some interesting conversations with the Boss about a certain individual and teh fact that he is becoming more and more worthless.

As a matter of fact, it snn... snnnn......... the driving "rain" we had this past cold, gray, windy Sunday had begun to solidify into threatening blobs as the temperatures approached 1C and flirted menacingly with 0. Served to remind me that Nature Hates Us.

So, conversations with Boss about Blue Falcon? And "interesting" good or "interesting" bad?

Thanks Lassy!

Yes the conversation was about the Blue Falcon and it was a "good" interesting. Seems that the Boss is fully aware and that is as far as he is allowed to talk with me about it. But he informed me that he has let our Bigwigs know that I have been picking up the slack around the office.

Of course then he told me I needed to get off my ass and take a Cert and to get my ass back in class. (like I have a lot of free time to begin with)

We'll see how all that goes.

So I was wondering if anyone else finds this amusing? I almost shot soup out my nose to the fack that the Sneaky Lass will drop F-Bombs without a second thought but cannot bring herself to say snow when winter is fast approaching!

(oh look it is sleeting and hailing outside now)shit!
