Yeah... slow day. But GeeGhost is here! ((waves to GeeGhost))

Not much going on. I'm in the middle of way important product testing, and we've already reached Tremendous FAIL!! Fortunately for me, the failures aren't with my aspect of the project... but I still feel my teammates' pain. Kind of. XD

Other than that... yeah. Not much. It's gray and windy and rainy. Perfect October-and-Winter-Hates-You weather. ^^

Morning Gee! Hope the Mathz are treatin' ya well!

Sneaky Lass -

Not a whole lot going on here atm. Just had the Training Trip I was supposed to go to for teh rest of the week canceled. Kinda made me mad. Was gonna have to travel to Marquette in da UP for Weds, Thurs and Fri for training on the Core Backbone of our network. Would have been a blast! Now I don't get to go til the 22nd (if they don't decide to cancel that for some reason too).

So now I am discussing how "we" are going to handle a customer turn up (installation) this week. What this means is the guy who is supposed to be doing the project is going to suddenly find an excuse as to why he cannot go and it wll fall into my lap to finish. Really annoying.

But hey it is sunny and about 60 out for today. The

that you have isn't supposed to get here until tomorrow afternoon at the earliest.

EDIT: You probably arn't allowed to discuss the failed project you are working on are ya? Or anything else that you are doin' eh?

PS - Still waiting for the sword cane pics in the pic thread Lassy!

*waves to HK*

well we're kind of having sun, then rain, then sun, then more rain, then more rain in that, it's quite warm but still horrible particularly when the wind gets up kind of British crappy weather day!

I'm in love with our new helpdesk system, as you know, the company is actually buying one this time, as opposed to getting something coded up in Outlook forms so it actually works which means I now have a means of tracking and organising my rediculous work load as opposed to doing it all in my head, which I was good at but life's a lot easier and less stressful if you don't!

hmmm, that got away from me a bit, must sit down at some point although darn it more maths, nearly a week to go and then done for three months till next course dies although going to a little course on the science of archeaology to keep the brain ticking over, anyway, wonderful other half coming to sweep me away from all this horrible work so catch you guys in a bit!

Always hung out with the "wrong" crowd but was never much interested in partaking in it. Good thing too cuz I alway ended up selected in their "randon" screening.

Unfortunately, I left my zombie proof suit of armor in another thread, so I must be wary of brain eating patrons here.

My Monday. Woke up to a muscle cramp on the side of my leg, didn't know there was a muscle there that could cramp.

Perfect weekend: Friday afternoon kids go away, wife an I get some alone time.
Saturday after noon: kids come back and the rest of the day is spent playing games and having family fun.

And since I work from home, the problem is becoming TOO distracted by shouting, loud noises, tv, fully accessable internets, chores, etc etc.

I don't call it "random"... I call it "very obviously targeting the one who looks like a Troublemaker". XD
Quote:

Domo... I found one of them at an antique flea market about 15 years ago. It was just sitting amongst other mundane canes.
I knew exactly what it was when I saw it, so I snatched it up and begged Mom to buy it for me.
The other came from eBay; the seller didn't realize that the cane opened, so no one else knew what it was or wanted it. ^^

Doubtful. Most likely on-going failure analysis.

(From previous post) Yeah, there's pretty much no way I'm going to tell you about it, but here's a vague summary:
Product Awesome contains Part A and Part B.
Part A (HK) works just fine and is continuing through the scheduled testing.
Part B (Them) had about 8 unique failures within the first hour of testing. Tremendous FAIL, yus.

So everyone else is in a panic because it seems as though the timeline is the most important thing when it comes to medical devices. <---((sarcasm))
The unwritten Management Mantra:
"Hurry hurry hurry! We always have time to re-do it three or four times, instead of taking the time to do it right in the first place!"
((shrug))

Other'n that... Dunno. I recently learned how to crochet.
Now I have a 12-foot long piece of red, single row crochet. XD
I think it may be a scarf one day, if I don't suddenly lose interest. (high percentage occurrence)

How about you? Have you pencilled "fun" into your schedule?

No, I guess not. But it's not really Them's fault. Management won't allow us to do design properly, so every time there's an unexpected problem, they insist on the fastest "fix" and then demand that we go straight into this testing again, instead of evaluating the "fix". If we had the proper time and resources to do what we needed to do, I don't think Them's part of the project would have failed...... well..... at least, not as tremendously. XD

Thought I posted a reliable link to this pic earlier but I was wrong.

Does anyone know where it came from?

ADD: I dig the chick with the brick. Practical, no nonsense, and tough (for a nine year old).

You'll have to teach me how to do that sometime.

I should warn you HK that I turn into an enourmas cat whenever someone strokes my hair/scalp, I frequently doze off when having my hair washed at the hairdressers, thought you should know so you can make an informed decision lol

and NVG, awesome picture mate, now I want to know where that came from, sadly I'm not as current as the rest of you on zombies (have only watched Shaun of the dead) so I'll take you word on their tactics, as long as they do not try to attack a zombie using as a tennis ball swing ball post setup as a mase.

*dreams of a samurai sword cause they're pretty as well as deadly, always wanted one and now they're trying to make them illegal over here*
