Another BDH lends voice to a videogame

Another Big Damn Hero is starring in a videogame (after Fillion, Tudyk, & Baldwin starred in Halo 3), this time its Ron Glass lending his voice to Fable 2. I was just watching the latest Fable 2 dev diary & there he was right at the end of the video amongst all the other actors/actresses.

Good morning Browncoats

Darkfly, I do enjoy hearing that our BDH’s are still so active in the entertainment industry.

I do like seeing Adam Baldwin on NBC’s CHUCK on Monday nights. I also like another show on NBC called LIFE. It stars a favorite actor of mine from BoB ( Band of Brothers) Damian Lewis. LIFE ( like Chuck with AB ) has done the Firefly fans proud by having FF guest actress Christina Hendricks (Saffron) playing the part of Charlie Crews’ (Damian Lewis) father’s love interest from season 1.Seems she spent a couple of guest appearances trying to convince Charlie that, although she was quite a bit younger than his father that she really did care for the man. We haven’t met Mr. Crews’ father as of yet and Christina’s intentions were purposely played to the questionable side. We’ll see if there is something more to Christina (Saffron) if she comes back for season 2.

Anyway, just watched the season 2 premier of LIFE and, surprise me if there wasn’t another FF guest actor on the first show of the season too. Erica N. Tazel plays a young mother who talks to Charlie Crews and appears about midway through the episode. In case you aren’t aware Erica plays “Doralee” on the Firefly episode “Safe” where Doc Simon and River are kidnapped by hill folk.

Erica did an outstanding job in her role as Doralee and I must have seen that FF episode at least 20 times already. Anyway just a bit of FF trivia for the years to come. I’ll keep watching Chuck and Life and I will never stop watching FIREFLY.

I sort of doubt that Christina will be on Life again. She's got a good role on Mad Men (on TNT). I've only seen it once but it seems to capture the look and feel of the early 1960's and Christina's curvy figure is perfect for the early 1960's fashions.

BTW the guys might want to look up a picture of her at the Emmys. She was one of the best dressed women there in a beautiful green dress.

And Nathan wasn't looking too shabby either in a black on black tux, that he "borrowed from a friend."

Thanks for pointing out Doralee in Life. I thought I knew her but I couldn't place her.

Mad Men has already wrapped for this season, so there's no reason she can't film Life episodes. That often happens these days with guest stars, and the TV "season" being more bendy and articulate than in the past.

Hello NCBrowncoat, Suasor and Mr. Darkfly again

NC, I remember reading on this very site that Christina was on “Mad Men” and I’ve even caught a few glimpses of the show. I haven’t seen the entire thing through yet ( my loss) but I’m sure that I will, through the magic of dvd and internet at some time.

If you are watching LIFE on NBC then you’re also watching a show that I’ve jump-started watching again. Just caught the last few episodes this week so I’m up to par and I’m glad that I did, it is a really good show. I would like to see Christina back on for an appearance or two this season and I agree with Suasor that it can be done. Course, in my wildest dreams NBC picks up FIREFLY and Adam returns as Jayne
( with bit parts as Casey in CHUCK). Ain’t nobody can play Jayne like Adam Baldwin, he owns that persona. Fact is every crew member of Serenity IS their character on the ship known as Serenity. Adam did so well as playing Jayne that my wife still “today” is aggravated by what he did to Simon and River in Ariel, go figger. I told her it was just “awesome” acting but she is as hard headed as I am I guess.

Anyhoo, just bought the season 1 box set of CHUCK today and I was looking for LIFE season 1 but didn’t find it, (Yes tv exects I have money to spend and I spend it. Would love to be spending it on me some FF season 2) I will get my hands on LIFE season 1 sooner or later.

NCB glad that you noticed the info about Erica (Doralee). Universal and NBC should know that there’s coin still to be made here. I looked in the store rack where I bought CHUCK and notice that there was only one FIREFLY series set remaining. I know they’re still selling like hotcakes.

I will continue watching NBC’s CHUCK and LIFE. I don’t know if BIONIC WOMAN is still around. Mark Sheppard ( we all know as Badger) had a role in BW but I don’t know if the show reached it’s audience?

Sorry to tell you that Bionic Woman was canceled rather fast. Mark Shepard has done some episodes of Battlestar Gallactica and hopefully he'll be back for the final season.

He's also in Joss's new series, Dollhouse, according to his My Space blog.

Every time I go to Target I do my Browncoat duty and check on Firefly. Usually there are only 1 or 2 copies and occasionally it sells out.

I did find a picture of Nathan at the Emmys (your wife will appreciate it). He went with Dana Delaney, who played his wife on Desperate Housewives.

I can't wait until Castle starts at mid season on ABC and his movie Chilled in Miami with Rene Zellweiger is being released in January.

I didn't know her name , but Erica also appeared in episodes of Jericho . Thanks for the info...Now I know her name , and won't forget it !

Howdy all

OutToTheBlack thanks for the info about Erica appearing in the tv series JERICHO and NCBrowncoat thank you for the picture of Nate and Dana, yep Mrs. Z loves Nathan and rents everything that he’s in from Netflix.

Here’s something I just stumbled on tonight and someone tell me if I’m wrong but it’s Horribly-Hi-lairy-ous. I was watching episode 2 season 2 of LIFE “Everything All the Time” and during a break there’s an appliance commercial with a bunch of folk standing in front of washing machines and dryers, almost like in a laundry mat, holy smokes one of them was Felica Day……I just had to laugh.
