Howdy,
Been away for some time, but thought I would come back for some help.

I just discovered this program called "Celestia". You can see what it is all about here
http://www.shatters.net/celestia/index.html
It is an astromony program, that allows a veiwer to look around the universe from any point in the universe. You can look at say, Mars from Jupiter, or Alpha Centauri from Ross 154.

The really cool thing is that you can create entire solar systems and objects, even whole new stars if you want. And spaceships.

There is a ton of free addons, for fictious stars, planets, spacecraft, etc. Star Trek and Star Wars are heavily represented, Stargate's Asgard have an add-on, even Spaceman Spiff has a ship around Saturn. But no Browncoat stuff.

Well, I would like to fix that. But I could some help.
1) Does anyone have a Serenity model in 3ds?

2) Does anyone have any other ship from Firefly in 3ds form?

3) Anyone come up with full stats for the various different Firefly solar systems?

4) I seem to remember that the original press kit mentioned something about the Ghost of Jupiter Nebula. But any more recent, or accurate information about where the Firefly Space is, would be helpful.

The texture maps of the various planets should be fairly easy to gen up. But once I have a good location, and the ship models, creating an add-on for Celestia should be pretty easy. I think it would be cool, and besides, we need to be represented.

"Wash, where is my damn spaceship?"

Okay, someone made a Serenity model for the game "Star Trek Armada". Was able to download it, and unpack it, had to mess with the texture maps because apparently Celestia does not map the textures the same way.

Anyway, got my first pic...Where is the upload pic button?

Its in the Blue Sun Room. It is called "Serentiy in Celestia" It's my first try, and I have to say that I just found this program just last Friday. So will need some time to learn the software, and find all the texture maps for the planets.
