It wasn't until the Rich Labonte poll that I had even heard of Firefly. Being that it was number 1(by far) I looked it up and was amazed at the fan support that resulted in a movie! Of course, I have to see the show now, so I ordered the DVD of the tv series and the movie online. If so many of you love the show so much, it's gotta be good. Vump. Vump is short for vote and bump. The alternative is Bote but that grew out of fashion. Sometimes you will see vomp which means that person vumped and nominated a show too which is called nom.

Woohoo! I love The Pretender! Been noming it the whole time. It's the only show I own that has more than a single season.

And Aiko, I've never actually seen Red Dwarf. My brother likes it but I keep forgetting to check it out. Putting it in my Netflixs now.

Yesterday, Firefly received 1,538 (1,842) votes, 304 fewer than the previous day. Shiny enough to get us there, Browncoats! Well done!

The missus and I put in 20 total votes on our IP, yesterday, including Bonanza, BSG, Buffy, Jericho, Angel, Babylon 5, Ponderosa, Dark Shadows, Blood Ties, all our friends with whom we share our success. We're on a sprint for the finish, Browncoats! Let's make sure the whole team gets across the finish line!

An estimated 3.3 (3.96) days remain to vote, based on current rates of voting. That figure may drop by more than a day with a resumption of weekday voting; expect the last day of voting to be Tuesday.

Dark Shadows is fighting hard to reach 150k, at 1.74 (2.91) days out, now TWO days ahead of schedule! DS is actually in a position to make one more pass, if they can sustain the pace, the last one of the Poll. However, with sustained intensified voting, they could still find themselves behind, again! Our friends the Barnabas Browncoats (DS voters) have made a HUGE contribution to Firefly. Assuming a modest 30 votes per day (which is just the numbers I know I can confirm), that's 900 votes per month, which, since we started working together in September, comes easily to around 10,000 votes.
