SF Signal just posted this link to the current list of entertainment media maintained aboard the International Space Station (ISS), and neither Firefly nor Serenity are on the list!

This is rather depressing to me, since we went through so much to get the disks onto the ISS...

BROWNCOAT1

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Do they cycle them out for new discs on a regular basis or something?

The request for this information was placed in April 2007, well before the July 2007 launch.

So, does it reflect the media in April of 2007 or the media closer to the report's release date in 2008?

Check the list for DVD's with release dates after the Breaking Atmo mission. If all the movies have release dates prior to July 2007, then this was before Serenity/Firefly were on board.

Heh. The crew prob'ly just loaned the discs out to a passing UFO. Just good Browncoat recruitment, is all.

I'm just amazed that, in 2008, they're hauling physical DVDs into orbit. Somebody should give them an iPod...

Think I heard they gave'em to Early once when they saw him floating by. Not a lot to do out in the black, he's gotta little time to kill
