tex- if I were in your shoes, I'd say play some really annoying music full-blast (if you live in the country, where they actually LIKE country western, give 'em heavy metal. Anywhere else, country-western)

This day was nearly unbearable. The only thing that got me through was daydreaming about gveneth paletrou.

No seriously I decided to work from home since I was out so late at Iron Man. Then I find out that something is jacked up with the software that lets me access my companies intranet. It left me able to access their intranet but no internet. I was only able to get it to work briefly when I posted before. Then it went right back to no internet.

No sleep and no internet make Zeek go crazy.

RF: lolz, well i dont live in the country, or the city, and round here, for some reason ppl are pretty diverse in their music selection (probably cuz ppl from all of the country go here @_@) but generally when the neighbors (upstairs) start humping something like Disturbed or Godsmack does the trick, cuz we've tried it our nextdoor neighbors just dont care cuz they blast music anyway, (usually the heavy stuff) and since neither myself nor the boyfriend like country, and ergo have none of it in our collections, we resort to punching the wall and yelling at them to shut up, or just mocking how stupid they sound, cuz they sound like a buncha retards @_@

johnny, posed a question for u, where'd u go?

FLT, I believe you mentioned in a previous post that you would damage somebody's cat if provoked.

This is not funny. Even said in jest.

Nobody should contemplate harming animals for fun. (And if you kill 'em for food/hide, do it humanely.) And having recently lost my own big, beautiful fat-boy cat, I'm quite upset by the idea.

HUGS Hobbleit. Way to go gorgeous!!! I knew you could:)

Anjl I'm pretty sure Jimi made that comment and he has several cats of his own including strays he took in so he'd never ever do that really

FLT- Jonny probably had to leave and go home and his home laptop is unpredictable at best so he might not be able to get on until Monday

Ck- oh it's just so damn cute

OK need to clean the house...really a lot
Poor NV has to spend the whole weekend ( after last weekend's massive activity and a long week of moving offices, painting etc) teaching classes so he's getting no weekend at all. Then he has to re-certify on the ROPES course ( kind of like basic training in terms of physical activity level) all week next week for 8 hours a day and will also have to go into the office some to deal with stuff....so he just might collapse...

font size=#* words /font, but in < >, of course.

Like this:

words

*The standard font size on this board is 2, so any number above that makes the font bigger, and 1 makes it smaller.

Just click "reply" to my post if I confused you, and you'll see the html stuff.

I know it seems painful now, but it really teaches you more than the easier exams.

I took a psych course once where they literally gave you the exams ahead of time so you could study for what would be on there. I aced that class so hard that I literally did not show up for the final. I could get a zero on it and still have an A. Once I did the math on that one I just ditched the last lectures and took my A. That really was a poorly taught course.

It's much better to have an exam that could have anything on it. It makes you buckle down and learn all the material.

Yeah I'm with Zeek... it forces you to study and review all materials and repetition makes it easier to remember and form connections to information. Remember that you don't just need this info to pass the test. You'll need it all the time. So try to find a way to actually remember not just cram it..

yeah, it teaches me that i still haven't gotten over the crying-cuz-i-can't-write-under-pressure thing ive been living with since i started the Connecticut Mastery Tests when i was nine. i'd've thought i'd be better at that by now, but i spent 20 minutes counting doubles to get myself to stop crying cuz ralph waldo emerson wasn't makin a god damn fucking lick of sense.

none of my teachers give us the exams ahead of time, and i dont want them to (that's a shitty way to teach a class, and ur prof should be fired for doing that @_@), it's just, when you have actual material in the form of notes u can study from and relate to to refresh ur memory, it makes things less stressful. The exams i take could have anything on it, hence why I have to study ALL the material covered up to that point, which tends to be a lot. no teacher expects us to remember material from five weeks ago, hence the notes to study from.

no teacher should give u a test u cant study for. ever.

Dropping in real quick. At work after running about in some fun activities for the ROPES/Challenge course. Only four more days left, two involving climbing and such. The lower elements on the course are fun enough, just wary as usual of heights.
