I got my friend the Firefly DVD's for Christmas, and in return he thanked me with this nice bottle of Merlot. He loves Firefly now. Cool, eh?

EDIT: I haven't opened the bottle, so I really don't know if it's yummy or not.

That's great, now all you need is a hat made out of a tree and an...um...articulate lady to dance with you and you'll be all set! ;)

The Firefly wine you have is actually from San Jose, California (USA) (not Australia). I don't know about the Merlot, but I've tried their 2001 Cabernet Sauvingnon and it was WONDERFUL :-9 The perfect accompaniment to watching the Firefly DVDs with some nice brie, roast beef and sourdough bread ;-)

Sounds like a great menu for a Firefly Shindig to me!

I attempted to purchase some of the Aussie Firefly wine (Shiraz and Chardonnay) for Firefly Friday last week, but I went to a different branch of the store where I first saw it, and alas, they did not carry it...damn....

Have to go back this week to the first store, and see if they still have some in stock. They were doing a big promotion on it last week; the signs were what caught my eye...anything big that says "Firefly" definitely gets my attention!

Anyone else notice how much the Aussie Firefly wine's label looks like our FF title? I.e. the sweeping Fs?

EDIT TO ADD: I can't get the distributor list to work. Can anyone tell me if there are any Aussie FF wine distribs in Ohio? Particularly Cincinnati?
