.. although someone's post in my "Hi I'm new here" thread said that I've got loads of new stuff to look into/find (etc).

Hence I'm wondering - what new stuff (new being NOT the film or TV series :-P) is there? I've seen around these forums mention of a comic and podcasts.. and there's apparently a Serenity novel? A newbie question I know, although where can I find some of this new stuff? (I've Amazon'd the novel, I mean where can I find some other new stuff).

Thanks!

Right now there is a comic book mini called 'Better Days.' The second issue was just released with the third and final in May. They should be easy to find at local comic books stores.

There is talk that a comic book mini about Book is in the works.

The first comic book mini was 'Those Left Behind.' I doubt you'll find those a comic book store. They are compiled in a Trade Paperback and available at Amazon.

The thread Chrisisall linked is a great start. Have fun!

The comics sound great Although I'm from the UK... and comics book stores don't really exist over here... is there a way to buy the comics online?

Also are they official Firefly comics (as in they're in some way related to the Firefly franchise, they aren't just fan-fiction)?

They are the real thing, they are official, and they are really quite shiny - Joss Whedon was involved in all of the graphic comics to some degree or other, and his one-of-a-kind mark is undeniable.

Gorramit, you beat me to it - had the link copied already and my fingers on paste, then refreshed the thread only to be confronted with the sad fact that I'm getting slow in my old age.

And TP - no wait, not a good abbreviation - TristanPerry, you definitely need a Jayne hat, btw. You can usually find one at ebay, but maybe one of the fine folks on here makes them or can suggest someone who does really shiny ones, since there're obviously varying grades of quality with this unofficial merchandise.

These are a few of the better places to get Firefly/Serenity gear. Most of it's fan-made and all of it's high quality stuff.

- http://www.bluemoonstuff.com/ -One of the best places on the net to get some of the more unique, original Firefly/Serenity related t-shirts and such P.S. Make sure to check out the Big Damn Sale page and the Closeout page from time to time. They have some great two-fer-one deals and such.

- http://www.quantummechanix.com/serenity.html -QMX makes some of the best prop replicas and just all around great stuff, posters, reference packs...etc... a bit pricey though but you really get what you pay for-

- http://www.patchesnpins.com/firefly_serenity%20page.htm -Makeing a costume? Just a patch lover? Even if you aren't they have some really cool patch replicas from out favorite show and many others-

- http://www.wash-o-saurus.com/ -I believe they will not be around much longer, if they are even still open now, but they have some nice stuff and I've worn my camo silicone Browncoat bracelet now for almost two years.-

Also check out Cafepress as they have many, to numerous to list, Fan-made artwork or everything from t-shirts to buttons and stickers. Not really my style for the most part but it's not bad stuff.

I also have to mention this site: http://the11thhour.home.att.net/ 11th Hour has some great posters you can print out and even has bookmarks now. Great art and a great way to promote the series. It's never to late to bring in new fans. Also there's a link there to 11th Hour's cafepress store which has some nice stuff.

And finally here: http://www.serenitystuff.com/ You'll find everything I mentioned above and alot more.

Welcome to the ranks.

One could go broke in our fandom. Easily. So much to buy.
