Our next, big goal, 625,000 votes, is 9,541 (10,581) votes, and, 9.17 (10.40) days away!

6,631,723 (6,619,065) votes have been counted as of 04/11/08. Yesterday, 12,658 (12,352) votes were cast. In order to take ownership of 10% of all votes cast in that period, we needed to vote 1,266 (1,236) times, of which we fell short by 226 votes. Our share fell to 9.2805297% (9.2825653%) of all votes ever cast. Our share of the voting pie remains at 9%.

A number of B5 fans have let me know that they've been voting for Firefly, Dark Shadows, and other members of our voting cooperative; now, I think it's time to recognize their efforts, and encourage folks to return them the favor! B5 is also a great show, if you haven't already seen it!

#15 show Babylon 5 got 437 (418) votes, yesterday, and, is on track to pass #14 show Stargate SG-1, which got 252 (256) votes, in 41.47 (48.5) days. Thanks for the help, voters!

#5 show Battlestar Galactica got 543 (556) votes, and, is currently receiving enough votes to overtake #4 show, Gunsmoke, which got 319 (303) votes, yesterday, in 133.07 (118.7) days. BSG is also closing in on the 5th Hall of Fame slot, and, is 5,688 (6,231) votes, and, 10.48 (11.21) days, away!

#7 show Buffy got 563 (574) votes, yesterday. Currently, Buffy is receiving enough votes to pass #6 show Farscape, which received 338 (334) votes, yesterday, in 52.54 (53.94) days. Buffy is also in pursuit of the 6th Hall of Fame slot, and, is 32,910 (33,473) votes, and, 58.45 (58.32) days, away, while Farscape 59.73 (61.46) days from getting there, first.

Buffy's still ahead in the Hall of Fame race! Let's vote to keep her there!

#11 show Angel got 494 (521) votes, yesterday. Angel is currently receiving enough votes to pass #9 show Combat!, which received 392 (370) votes, yesterday, in 79.68 (53.44) days (New #10 show Jericho got 802 (787) votes to pass Angel. Unfortunately, Angel will have to remain at #11 until he can advance back up past Combat! Let's not get discouraged!

#30 show Dark Shadows got 421 (409) votes, yesterday, and is receiving enough votes to pass #29 show Charmed, which got 220 (224) votes, in 19.32 (22.08) days.

Thanks for the congrats, coffee, and muffins. Great way to start the day, and takes the sting off of the low Surface numbers for the last couple of days. We'll be lucky to pass the next show today...ah well, I'll let you read it for yourself.

The Surface Daily Report

Yesterday we had 150 Noms, another weak performance and it cost us. While we did pass Simon and Simon, we are set up poorly for what should have been an easy takedown today. It now may take two days instead.

The Mandrell show is 124 Noms ahead, and although they had a weak day as well with only 33 Noms yestarday, they average 38 each day, meaning the magic number is 163. If you'd asked me last week, I'd have said no problem, but unless we have a good day today we will still be looking at her behind tomorrow. I know most of you are faithfully voting, but remember we hit 219 not long ago, so some people have dropped off entirely or aren't voting as much. Please start voting again, a lot. We need you. When you don't you can see the results here.

For those of you working hard at this I appreciate it. Thanks for helping us take down one more show.

VOMPs (Multiple for Surface and Doe)

In spite of real life doing everything it could to intrude upon my voting today, I got in about 6 for Doe I think, so he can pass that stupid train and we can get back to helping Surface and Dwarf. LOLOL

Got in a bunch more for Surface as well. Accidently shut off the Reminder in the middle so I have no idea how many times I voted today though.

Sorry I was able to get back to post though.

I was able to finish a year+ long nightmare with the court system today though.

Can I get a Whoooo Yaaaaa?
