This is probably old news to everyone here, but I just noticed that Nathan Fillion was in the movie Blast from the Past, where he played Cliff. I was pretty gassed when I noticed he was in Saving Private Ryan and even more so at this discovery.

Yep, and he got punched in the head repeatedly by Brendan Frasier.

That's Mal, alright.

Jealousy, I guess.

Edit: Why does it say "tongue"? I was expecting something more smiley-ish.

If ya want some more great Nathan watch the movie The Waitress. He is his usual charming funny self and the movie is a bit of a hoot as well. If ya wanna see more of our hunky Simon (Sean) see the remake if Brian's song. Then of course Alan is the voice of Sunny in I, Robot. Anyone had any other BGH sitings? I am trying to see where all I can find our little band. Caught an old CSI the other night with Summer in it too.

Alan is in "3:10 to Yuma" and "Death at a Funeral". He also played a pedophile on CSI last season. Very, very creepy performance.

Nathan has also done "Slither" a funny horror movie and "White Noise 2", it's completely different. He also guest starred in an episode of "Lost" last year and is currently in "Desperate Housewives".

Every time I see the adds for Death at a Funeral I SWORE that was Alan...thanks for confirming it. I have seen White Noise 2 and was aware of Slither but not sure I wanted to see it..since you say it has some humor I might give it a try. I am a big CSI fan an am sure I saw the episode with Alan so I will go back and find it..thanks for filling in a few blanks.....

Want another tiny trivia? In the movie How to Make and American Quilt....Adam Baldwin is pictured as Wynona Ryder's father.

Alan's also in A Knight's Tale and Dodgeball--I think he's the guy who pretends to be a pirate or something? Lol, good times :D

Slither is gross funny but White Noise is a bit scarier but its a good performance. Do watch the extras on both for classic "Nathan with a camera let loose on the set" hijinks.

Hi, t/s
SLiTHER is gross rather than gory.
I hate blood but don't mind slime.
Yes, it's funny.
Gregg Henry (sheriff from Firefly "Train Job")
is foul-mouthed mayor in SLiTHER.
Pam-from-"The-Office" is Shelby the dispatcher.
Michael Rooker is terrific as he goes from real (that's if you consider Rooker to be real) to latex.
Elizabeth Banks is beautiful.
And there's more.
You'll want to organize your own Deer Cheer by the time you're done.

...and Alan is adorable in "Knocked Up..."

I really loved the movie Dodgeball with Alan and I wanted to go to a Convention where Alan was a speaker and ask him if his role as Dread Pirate Steve had any effect on his role as Wash in Serenity and if he had some tendency to gravitate towards being a pirate, but I bet that gets asked all the time.

I haven't read right down to the end of this thread so I may be repetitive:If you want to see a particularly outstanding performance by Adam Baldwin, see him as Animal Mother in Stanley Kubrick's "Full Metal Jacket". a warning though, it's an emotionally confronting and violently graphic film. Baldwin's character appears in the second half. I also love his performance in "my Bodyguard"...the film that introduced me to his talent in the eighties.Incidentally, If I hadn't had such a tragic crush on Chris Makepeace, I would never have seen it.I Subsequently would never have become an Adam Baldwin junkie and likewise may never have kept watching that engagingly weird sci fi western thingy I caught the last 25 minutes of one night when I was channel surfing. Damn you and thank you Chris Makepeace!

Yeah, this is where we learn that Nathan enjoys wearing other men's underwear and is nothing but legs, butt, and hair. Or, at least to Brandon's character. LOL!
