Well, Jstn, I'm grateful for your help with Firefly and Dark Shadows; I just feel a little self-conscious havin' you cast nomination votes for Moonlight when you're up against the Golden Girls. But, if you can spare 'em, sure, your help with Moonlight would be greatly appreciated! It's still a bit of a haul, yet, to get ML into the Top 40, and, every vote counts.

Thanks again for your help; if you wanted to boost another really great show, Babylon 5 is one I vote for, personally VUMP!

THough I'd like to see a lot of fine programs in the nominations, Hercules can't get on with 56,000 noms pretty much spells no hope for any of the low voted noms.
Anyway, a very long and weird Monday getting better with nearly 550,000 firefly votes, a few of mine in there tonight.

That's like saying there's no point voting for any show that isn't Firefly. 39 other Top 40 shows, whose fandoms know they'll never catch us, still vie for the best position they can get, enjoying the thrill of passing other shows, when they can, as well as holding off rising rivals.

In the Nominations, it's a lot the same way. I've been enjoying the progress some of the Noms shows have been making as they move upward, even though, mathematically, they will never get into the Top 40. They can still shoot for the Top 100, Top 50, even Top 20 of the Noms, with a decent chance of getting there.

So, I'll keep nom'ing, and, encouraging those who do likewise, just like I'll keep holding on for more of the 'Verse VUMP!

(And, another nom for Moonlight!)

Mornin' everyone.

Got up early and started VOMing.

The reminder just came up so I Nom'd Moonlight this time. Will do John Doe again next time.

As Ray knows, I finally got that mass email out to everyone signed up at my site.

No way to know hoaw many will join, but at least a few have as of last night. Watch Surface start to climb that list now.

Look out Golden Girls, you ancient old biddys, you. LOLOLOL

I really appreciate the help with the Noms for Surface.

I agree that 50,000 votes looks like an impossible goal, but the thing is with dedication, and by picking up more help, all the while, the numbers start to add up.

When we did another voting poll last year, Surface was way down the list, but ended up holding 3rd place against Xena and Lost, which was at it's peak of popularity, at the time.

It can be done. A few shows at a time, and before you know it, the Noms are in the multiple thousands. Consistancy and dedication are the keys.

It also helps to have a great guy like Ray, leading the charge.

Three cheers for Ray. 21 gun salute later, if Jayne will loan me Vera. LOLOLOL - Jstn

Been VOMing all day.

Yet another couple of Surface fans returned from "the dead" to help us out. Including the owner of our Surface sister site in Germany. She is putting the info up there as well, so not only will Surface fans be voting for Firefly, here, but now from Germany as well.

Next two Noms will be for Moonlight and John Doe.

I'll kick one in for Red Dwarf later just because it's a favorite of mine. (It seems to be doing well without my help though. - Jstn

Gotta tell you, I have almost slipped and wrote in Moonlighting a couple of times. God forbid.

I've been trying to forget that piece of yuppie crap since it was on. LOLOLOL

Red Dwarf next Nom.

Ray is MIA, huh? Maybe working late?

Magdalena - Nice day for Voting, eh? LOLOL

Leading the who-what, now? For ghod's sake, put down the gun, Jstn =^[.]~=!

Seriously, though, thank YOU for leading the charge of the Surface fans. It's nice to have new friends join the fight, and, I hope folks here'll supplement the Surface noms, as well...

Like this one- VUMP!

(And, another nim-nom for Surface!)

Thanks Ray. But I'm keeping Vera.

I might need it if this election keeps going the way... er...uh...never mind. LOLOLOL

Anyway, appreciate the Noms For Nim (new campaign title?) Threw Red Dwarf a nom recently as promised.

Got up really early today and habve been VOMing ever since, so added to the help from you guys and the other Surface people coming on board, I would expect Surface to jump way more than the usual 20 or 30 Noms by tomorrow. I'll let you know.

Of course, when we do well, so does FF (and I asked them to include DS for you)

Seems like that Worrier Princess is getting a lot of dust on her crown. LOLOL

I have another vote or two in me tonight, so...

See you all in the morning.

Okay, have it your own way, Jstn... Just remind me not to talk politics with you =^[.]~=.

The missus and I got in 21 votes today; I don't vump nearly so often as I vote, so, VUMP!

(And, another nom for John Doe!)

Nighters, all!

I spend all day talking politics with people from all viewpoints, Ray. No problem there.

Besides, I never shoot those people I know. LOLOLOLOL

OK, what's Vump then? I thought it was Voting and Bumping the thread, combined.

As opposed to say, my VOM, which is Voting and NOMing combined.

You know I really hate abbreviations. The purpose of language is communication, not shortcuts.

Then again, the voices aren't always on my side...

You've got it right Jstn, vump is Voting & bUMPing the thread. I think Ray was just saying that he doesn't bump the thread every time he (& Mrs. Ray) votes.

Monster storms last night. Defense siren is only 2 blocks away, and the wind was too high to hear it. Going to have to survey the roof & yard when I get home.
