O.K., maybe this topic has been done before, but if not I hope some will find it of interest.

Am I the only person here who occasionally dreams Firefly?

Last night I had a dream that I was a minor character in the show (glorified extra, I guess, maybe a line in every other episode or something). Despite my peon status, everybody from Morena to Nathan was super nice to me all the time, and when word came down that the show was getting cancelled, I was there with everybody sharing the grief. I said that as a nothing actor, I could never hope to work with such wonderful people again, and considered it a huge privelage, and would miss everyone, etc. Some unrecognizable crew person snorted and stalked off, and some other person basically told me to stop acting like I was SOMEBODY, but Summer became very emotional and came to my defense. (Note that in real life, I have never even been in a school play.)
After that, the dream got really bizarre (as my dreams often do at what usually turns out to be what feels like 2-5 minutes before my alarm goes off), and found me carrying a camera around to chronical the production of the BDM, which in my dream version was, apparently, a musical. (Don't ask, I don't know my own self.) This was the point when my mind started to regain consciousness and realize it was all a dream, and I'll admit it was very sad for my half-awake mind to realize that I had never really been involved with the show.

A couple of times before I have dreamt that I was more IN the show, like it was real and I was a member of the crew.

Strange, yes? But I come here now seeking acceptance and validation. Now is the time for you other Firefly-dreaming Browncoats to come clean; you are among friends who have gone through what you've gone through. And I really hope you are out there, 'cause if I'm the only one, I'm afraid I may be coming up leaky in the brainpan.

Nope , you're not the only one...Just one of

many , and yes , the topic has been done

before...And it's always interesting when it

comes up again...

A very interesting dream , as are your insights

about it...And , no , you shouldn't worry 'bout a

'leaky brainpan'...

Firefly is Love...And Serenity , we Never

leave...

I've dreamt of being 'in' the show , and it was

as natural as fallin' off my horse...

The vignette that I remember best , 'twas just me

and the Shiny Captain , on some moon where the

meteors were flyin' so low overhead , we felt

compelled to duck...And it was Just Beautiful !

Or , maybe , we were in the

war together , and being shot at...OK , kidding

about that part !

Thanks for sharing ! Your mind is giving you

great gifts !
