Well I just got home from work, and I see that my trivia questions have not been answered. The answers are:
1) Buck Rogers ( "Olympiad" episode )
2) World WIthout End
3) The Crawling Eye & The Abominable Snowman

It's funny that you mention William Shatner guesting on FIREFLY. I always imagined him as Mal's father. That they'd accidentally run into him and have a sort of father/son adventure like in INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE.

I mean, how can William Shatner not play Mal's father? If you compare Kirk from the original series to Mal, they both have that wry smile, that twinkle in their eyes and that swagger that's so endearing.
