CROWFLYY

I figured I'd post this amongst the worlds Firefly folk, beings most others would not understand. I saw 3 episodes of the show while it was being aired, and visited this sight once or twice more than a year ago, and forgot about it. I received the firefly boxed set of DVD's for X-mas, and I almost wish I hadn't. My brothers family were visiting over the new years holiday, and the weather outside was foul. So, we "fire"d up the DVd player and the surround sound and put the disks in. We ended up watching them non-stop. The whole group of us almost forgot to eat. I work in a job where I'm exposed to the worst sort of things that can happen to folks (Paramedic/Firefighter)and so I relish my escapes. "Firefly" became one of the best escapes I've had in years. The only thing I can compare it with was the final release of the "Lord of the Rings" series, but in that, at least, they finish the story. It astounds me that a television network can stay afloat with such profoundly idiotic decision making. I'm not an easy sell when it comes to TV programs, I watch only 2 regularly, NYPD blue and Enterprise. I honestly believe that if Fox had promoted this show properly, it would be in its 3rd successful season, making them millions of dollars, and I personally would probably own all 9 of the burger king glasses. As it sits now, I can offer myself only up to you as a new addict, of a drug that now longer exists.Oh the pain, the pain...........

I hope there would be at least 15 burger king glasses, and I bet they'd end up being collector's items. Everyone would always be missing the Shepherd Book glass, or chipping the Wash.

True... but at least we have the respect and affection for the show to feel pain over its loss..

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.
