Does anybody else watch this show?
I started watching and said to my self..."This show is clever, different, and well made....Its doomed!" Give it a watch, its part, Raising Arizona intro, part Amilee, part Wonderfalls. I believe its doomed because with a script, a brain, and no dancing stars...there is no room for it in todays broadcast television. and thats ashame.

I love the show. It is, of course, visually amazing to watch. And the cast doesn't have a weak link in it. And I have major crushes on Kristin Chenoweth and Anna Friel. ABC just picked up another 9 episodes for a total of 22 episodes to finish the first season. Remember, it's not on F*X, so it has a chance.

I am completely amazed by how wonderful Swoosie Kurtz is on that show! She steals every scene she's in.

Thank you for that great news. I love this show. Part Wonderfalls (including the lead actor,) part "Big Fish".
Truly a must see. A show I'm already looking forward to owning on DVD.

America loves a winner!

Yeah, I love the show. Catch every episode.

Did anyone notice former Hero's star, Jayma Mays ? She was the waitress that Hiro fell for in season 1.

Nice seeing her again!

Love it love it love it! I've DVRd every episode and watched them multiple times. Such a great cast! They're all so adorable! The show reminds me a lot of that French film Amelie.

"Can you, for a moment, imagine how depressing it is to teach one thousand years of masculine ineptitude? Why do you think there are so few women historians? I'll tell you why. Because history is not such a frolic for women as it is for men... History is a commentary on the various and continuing incapabilities of men. History is women following behind with a bucket and a mop." - Alan Bennett, "The History Boys"

I too love this show and thought it might be doomed because it was so offbeat and clever. It's nice to know that it has a shot.

Here's hoping... *fingers crossed*

Well that's neat! I thought when I saw her, "She looks a lot like that girl that played the waitress in Heroes Season 1."

She looks EXACTLY like that girl that played the waitress in Heroes Season 1. LOL

Jayma also played/plays Charlie (again, like on Heroes) Henry's cheating girlfriend from Arizona on Ugly Betty. So, is it me, or is it somehow amusing she played two girls named Charlie, then was on a show with a girl named Chuck?

probably me.

On the main subject, though, I adore Pushing Daisies, the more I see of it, the more I LOVE it. Kristin short-and-cute (chenowith?) is wonderful, (even though I hate the character that's already in love with someone that's already in love with someone else - I can't wait for her to have her own love interest), Chi McBride is so constantly cracking me up, and the pie maker and his undead lady are just awesome.

Being a HUGE Little Shop of Horrors fan, it made me really happy to see Audrey being so cute and adorable - and how awesome was it to hear her and Kristin's duet in the last episode - two awesome voices, I SO hope we get to hear them sing together again.

MADMAN007

I also am loving this show. The fact that ABC just ordered a full season shows they have a commitment to it. Other factors indicate it should be around for a while. One being that it's on a major network rather than a cheap, ignorant, clueless network that shall be nameless....(fox). (By the way, baseball is just over folks...YAY REDSOX...So, there won't be any preemptions. Heee)

And it leads into the new spin off of Greys Anatomy, Private Practice. Also, what real competition does it have? That freak show with the sick illusionists? People will turn that off for something lighter.

As far as the show goes, I am loving the whimsical and fable-like nature of the show. Some things are unrealistic but that's what I love about it. It doesn't explain the unrealistic aspects - it just IS.
I also love Wonderfalls, but Pushing Daisies seems more positive. And the questions will hover the whole season. Where does Ned's power come from? Will Chuck stick around if she knows she can't be with Ned?

"No.....THIS is what going mad feels like.
