Anyone else laugh out loud at Doakes' line in the last ep of Dexter?

Gotta love Dexter.

Yeah, I really liked that line too. And I love DEXTER as well. Mainly because I'm a big SIX FEET UNDER FAN, and my jaw dropped to the floor in the first few minutes when I saw David Fisher as a cold, emotionless serial killer. I mean, eve the voice overs seem like they're delivered from the abyss.

SIX FEET UNDER is most definitely worth checking out. It was created by Alan Ball, the same guy that wrote AMERICAN BEAUTY, and it's about this family in L.A., the Fishers, who run this funeral home. My key board is acting up, so I'll just say that I think that it's a better show than FIREFLY. It has what FIREFLY has (complex and fully living and breathing characters, rich plotlines, a tone that goes from deathly serious to deliciously funny at the drop of a hat) but so much more. It's also a great black comedy, as well as a really touching and spiritual show about living in the shadow of death.

It really is something you've never seen before.

Plus, if you squint hard enough, Peter Krause and Nathan Fillion kind of act and look fairly similar.

Ok Reginaroadie, I just rented the first season of Six Feet Under and have finished the first 2 episodes so far.

Just for the record when exactly do you think Six Feet Under becomes better than Firefly? Because 2 eps in and I cant see it yet.

Dexter is probably one of the BEST hours on TV right now. Here is to hoping that Dex can get rid of Doakes for a while and get back to business.

He looked like he was losing his edge for a while but now that a few of the things he was dreading (fake addict & the girlfriend, Doakes' tailing him) seem to be working in his favor...... I gotta feeling he might get over confident and slip up.

So far, a GREAT beginning to the season. I might just dust off my designs for a few Dexter t-shirts that I was going to print last season now that I'm all amped up again about the show.
