I don't know if this has been posted here already, but there are a few juicy names doing voice acting in Halo 3 including Alan Tudyk, Adam Baldwin, and BSG's Starbuck, Katie Sackhoff. And although I didn't notice his name in the credits the first time through, I SWEAR I hear Nathan Fillion's voice in there too.

Lister,

Pssst, I've read that you can save Sgt. Reynolds. He is supposedly on the first level being choked by a brute.

Good hunting!

There's nothing more fun than careening a warthog through a blockade of Covenant with Baldwin, Tudyk, and/or Fillion riding shotgun, whoopin' and hollerin' like there's no tomorrow.

I know the part you're talking about, but is his name in the game really Sgt. Reynolds, or is that what he has been dubbed on this site? I guess I was right about the voice since I didn't see his name in the credits.

Based on reading multiple reports from the field, yep, you are right about the voices of our BDHs. I don't know if Nathan's character's name is really ever said in the game.

I've read Sgt. Raynolds and Sgt. Reynolds in some posts.

I have read that people have seen Nathan, Adam and Alan's names in the credits. But I don't recall if where the credits are. Is there a manual and a section listing voices? Or the box?

Pssst. Also I've read if you save Sgt. What's his name, and point your gun at him a while, he will say some funny stuff.

Also that if you can get him in a Warthog, he is a good gunner.

Orpheus,

Are you just commenting that that would be fun or have you actually been able to find Alan's and Adam's characters?

People have written about finding Nathan's character and even getting him to ride in a warthog. But haven't read about anything about where Alan's and Adam's characters are.

Well, as far as I can tell, they don't play any specific characters. Their voices show up as generic marines in various levels. So they're kind of all over the place.

You can get Alan on the warthog gun, but he's not a very good shot...
Related dialogue.
"Am I even hitting anything ?!"
"Why'd they make this thing so LOUD ?!"

Adam on the other hand, stomps em pretty good.
Related dialogue.
"Gimme the gun, I'm in a baaad mood!"
"Don't just stand there, start shootin folk!"

Haven't gotten Nathan back there yet.
Adam also has a tendancy to mock your driving.

I was playing co-op on legendary with a friend last night and one of the characters that Adam Bawdin voices was in our group of soldiers fighting with us. I kid you not... at one point I heard him yell: "Say hello to Vera!" whilst laying down fire at a bunch of grunts. And when we started out on the Ark, I here him shout: "Sure would be nice if we had some grenades dontcha think!" - I was so happy!

I've also heard Alan Tudyk's voice say "Shiny! It's the Chief!" - I can only imagine what other Firefly/Serenity references are in this game!

I've found myself saying that frequently in Halo 3.

I saw Alan and Adam's names, as well as Katie Sackhoff's, names in the credits that run at the end of the game. Playing again, Alan is one of the first voices you hear, and Adam I have heard a few times as well. Katie's I don't think I have recognized so far. The next time I beat it I will look for Nathan's name since I didn't see it the first time through, but playing it the first time I thought they must have someone who sounds a lot like him.

Now I will REALLY be listening for the Firefly references. I want to hear Adam say, "I like smackin' em."
