Got a question regarding the canon's background: was the Alliance mole in "Serenity", Laurence Dobson (I think that was his name?) an employee of Interpol or the Alliance Security forces. I believe Lieutenant Womack from "The Message" was in the Alliance Security forces, and I'm really not sure if that's the same thing as Interpol, or if it's something different.

Don't squat with your spurs on.

I don't know if there is an Interpol. But I believe he was not a military operative if that's what you mean.

I am quite sure, whoever he was working for, he wasn't military: the military simply would have planted an agent with a tracking and signal beacon and had the agent activate it next time the Serenity was close enough to be unable to run from a Cruiser...besides, given the amount of training a military agent would have had, he wouldn't have shot Kaylee because he was twitchy...

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

I have watched the episode 4 times now, and my first instinct is bounty hunter. I discount that though because this guy was nervous and didn't strike me as a pro.

I am thinking perhaps he is some sort of undercover agent for the Blue Hands, a Fed of some sort.
