Anybody ever seen "Two guys and a girl"? I spent pretty much all day yesterday on youtube watching this show...because Nathan was in it. He had a reoccuring role in season 2, and was made a regular in season 3. I absoloutly adored watching it...because it just proved that our dear captian was always the best, as IMO, he stole the show completly once he signed on as a regular...or, at least, in every scene he was in.

Absoloutly adored it. And, honestly, some of the lines he had in this show...I would love to hear come out of his mouth as Mal. Heh...it was lots of fun.

I've seen it too and I love it. One of my favorite episodes is the one of the Halloween episodes where everyone is captured by the mad scientist in the basement and heads get changed. And Johnny has to figure it all out. I was on the floor laughing.

Actually the whole time he was on the series was fantastic. Nathan is such a natural comedian.

LadyKnight,

Just this year, Amazon put up a DVD alert for Two Guy, A Girl and a Pizza Place DVD. I signed up to get an email alert if a DVD ever becomes available for pre-order.

I think that is a sign that someone is thinking about releasing a DVD.

shiny...I'll have to try to get them!

and I loved that halloween episode too! LOL...I laughed hard during it...because all I could think about was all the slash fics people write with pairings involving Mal...hehe.

But dosen't anybody else think that some of Johnny's quotes wouldn't have been out of place coming from Mal?

STOWEAWAY

I watched Two Guys and a Girl. It was an OK show until Nathan showed up. Then I watched it religiously.
I didn't know who Nathan was then, I only knew that he was the biggest (and most under-used) talent on the show.
In fact, I wasn't going to watch Firefly until I saw "that guy from Two Guys and a Girl" show up on the commercial. I remember telling my husband that I hoped he had a meatier part on Firefly than they gave him on his last show.
I hate to say it but I probably won't buy the DVDs if they come out. I only watched it for Nathan and always thought his part was way too small anyway.

Well, if it every happens. I hope he does some commentaries and extra stuff. Every show and movie he is on should loan him a camera and let him film extra stuff. Like he did on Firefly and SLiTHER dvds.

You're right. In fact, I take back what I said. If he does some of the commentary, I'd totally buy the DVD. The man is about as witty as they come.

DATALESS

The other Halloween episode of "2 guys, a girl..." is even funnier. The cute wacky neighbor is kicked out of the guys apartment again and gets upset so she curses the two guys and a girl. Berg start to become ugly, I don't remember what happens to Pete but Sharon grows a penis. They go to confront her and hilarity ensues.

I was watching Saving Private Ryan and about half way through I get a shock when I see Nathan Fillion show up as the other James Ryan and (please forgive me but) his acting was terrible. He was crying that he might have lost his grade school brothers. I was surprised that Speilberg let that through.

I also remember that he was in "Blast From The Past" with Brendan Fraser, Alicia Silverstone and Christopher Walken. He is the guy that Fraser punches in the faces several times in the bar or club that Dave Foley if hanging out in. I think Nathan Fillion's acting abilities had markedly improved in the time between the two films.
