Well I've never been one for collectables in the past but I'd like a bed with the end made up to look like the flight deck of Serenity! That would be fun, no wait, then I'd be up all night pretending I'm a leaf on the wind.

You can never go wrong with model's of the Ships. Jubal's space ship would be a cool addition. As would the Dortmund space station from the pilot....A replica sign that read "Good Dogs" or maybe the train from Train Job. Hands of Blue would sit proudly upon any window ledge too. Or Tracy in his coffin from the Message as a replica scale model. Oh and definitely a reaver of some sort in requisite menacing pose.

For now that's what springs to mind.

Some nice ideas there. For me personally, I prefer replicas of things as they are, like a casting of a pistol or two, or some other prop. not so much one for the figures. I think I will definitely be shelling out for the firefly model though cuz its just so damn shiny. I have the Dark Horse comics two which have some pretty nice artwork, unfortunately I could get all the covers I wanted.

You reminded me of something I would love, which is a bedroom like the ones just off of the flight deck, where you go down a ladder and everything is all cosy. Mal's room seemed to be a decent size too.

In reference to castings of props, what about Jubal Early's gun? Or the Alliance gun from Ariel.

A room like Mal's would be cool too. It could work if you had a basement.

QMX are the people who made the Serenity Blueprints, cashy money replica, Mal's gun replica.

Yes, the model is in the works. They are going to do a signature line too...like signed by Nathan (Our Captain) Fillion.

Info is on their website. No picture of actual model but words describing what they want it to look like.

I have their Blueprints and cashy money. Wonderful work. I expect the model to be wonderful. I hope they figure out how to get the engine spinny thing to work safely.

I'll keep these lines short for easy reading.
My number one collectible right now is Adam Baldwin's
notated and signed script for "Serenity" (the pilot
episode). I managed to win the eBay auction for that.
If you want a description, there is a thread on this site
in which I gloated... er, shared the bounty with my fellow 'coats.

I also have the usual suspects: posters, cast photos,
books, Serenity blueprints, T-shirts, and the ornament.
I'm definitely going for the big QMX model when it
comes out.

When you get right down to it, though, I'd give up
any and all of those items in a heartbeat, if that
would get us a Firefly Season 2.

Xander - I am pretty Certain they are the same one, the bronze one is the realistic pic. I've not heard of the silver version and that is likely a prototype image.

There is a light-up Reaver version of Serenity based on that ornament is supposed to be released in another month or so.

As weird as it sounds, I'd like to have River's 2 butt kicking dresses (maidenhead and reaver - its a blue one and a green one) :P Oh, and her end-of-movie weapons XD Mal's brown coat would be cool too. Oh, River's headpiece at the beginning of the movie would be....interesting XD

I'm not really into stuff that's not recognizable (like some random glass that was sitting on the dinner table)...if I get something, I want it to be blatantly obvious where it came from to anybody who's seen said material.
