Frankly through all my searching through the net I've never really found a whole lot of concrete information on a possible Serenity sequel let alone a restart of Firefly. And I was wondering what you all might know. I also understand this is probably a question that has been asked a million times and appologize for bringing it up again. Of course I would also like to see some decent novels put out soonish. Anyway thanks for your time etc.

P.S.- While Firefly/Serenity will always hold a special place with me, like all the rest of you I'd prefer that there were a few more installations to keep them company.

Hey, Eagle.

No word. :(
With every passing year, our chances of a sequel or a new series fade a little bit more.

But we aren't giving up hope! Keep spreading the word, keep attending events, and holding our Big Damn Heroes close!

We've done the impossible once. We can do it again. :)

Hi, EagleCry.

Welcome to the site.

*hands EagleCry a browncoat from the storeroom*

Put on your 'coat and prepare to wait awhile, I'm sorry to say.

We're still in the middle, waiting to see if Serenity makes enough money off the Collector's Edition that is released in August. Even then it's a slim chance, but one I'm willing to work for.

When Joss announced the CE on Whedonesque, he mentioned that the current edition of Serenity had enjoyed good sales and that had contributed to the CE's chance to exist, so I'm taking that as a sign that if the CE sells well that little itty bitty chance we have might pan out. I'm not pinning impossible hopes on it, but it's worth the effort.

We've got some plans to do some stuff, we're writing the SciFi channel right now. Every new person who falls in love with FF/S brings folks with them eventually. The fandom is growing still.

We're holding. Holding with hope...

We're glad you've joined us.

Aye, I'll be getting a copy of the new edition of Serenity because I'm dying to see the extra content. Thanks fer the coat by the way.

What with all the rumors and projects going on right now, Books MMO etc. I would hope that it will generate enough interest to warrent at least some dang response to our demands er requests

And a general question: How decent is the source material in the RPG books? I don't think I really want to start the ol' pencil and paper days up again but I'd love to read about a more developed verse. I mean how big is the area they traveled etc.

-Da Eag

P.S.- Any links etc. on how I can put a word in the SciFi channels ear?

I have heard ( only copy I've purchased was given away as a gift ) the source material is amazing! What I saw the day I looked thru it in a comic shop blew me away. I believe it's worth owning and I hope some gamers chime in with more info for you.

Yup, I'm the gal with the links.

Here is the current and ongoing campaign to write Skiffy ( the SciFi Channel ) to show a marathon of Firefly in their daily rotation and the plan to have them show Firefly as a summer series.

Follow this link for a plan laid out for the summer with links and all included...
That's the one that'll be above my signature wherever you see my name. This is the one that I'll be dedicating my summer to doing. I'm a member of the Irregulars and I mean to make a difference if I can this summer.

That's a long post, you'll have to scroll down to get the most of it, but you'll see links to Skiffy ( the SciFi Channel ) and where to write and such.

Right here on FFF.net:
Check out the forum right below the General Discussion one ( it's called Guerrilla Marketing ) for more info about stuff we've done, stuff we're doing and a hint of a group's effort in the works now.
