Sorry, Mav.

I've been rethinking the suggestion that you three are the same person. I still don't believe it. Not at all. But the concept is amusing. I think I'll sign up here using a different name and then have conversations with myself on-line. That'd match the conversations that I have here by myself. Might be funny. No it wouldn't. What, are you saying it wouldn't be funny? I'm saying that it would be annoying. Well yes, you are right about that. I'm always right. No you are not. Yes I am...OK there was that one time that I was wrong.

No you weren't...

Dood, you so don't want to go there. When I first started posting here that was happening and it was bad news. A few people were even leary of me because of that.

Mavs- The next time he does something like that look him dead in the eye and say: "what part of Sexual Harassment don't you understand?"

Doesn't matter where or if people are in the room. Just get right to the point. If that phrase doesn't stop him then its time to get others involved.

Or,

I could just Smite him for ya!

Holy crap, Mav...that's disturbing. I'm not sure what I'd do if someone uninvitedly sniffed me. Blech. Maybe just a loud, clearly annoyed "Did you just sniff me?" in front of co-workers. If he did it again, I would be speaking to HR.

msg: eek. That's quite a morning. Hope the day is getting better.

jimi: What is this trivia of which you speak? I LOVE trivia. The more trivial, the better.

Mags! Howdy, long time it's been since I seen you here.

Little Firefly moment for y'all: I lent the first two discs of Firefly to a co-worker. A co-worker who knows my DVD lending policy of "you break it or lose it, you buy it." So she's had the discs for quite some time: enough that I am getting antsy to get them back. I wanted to watch an ep this weekend, but she had the disc. She comes into the office Monday all sheepish-like and proceeds to gradually get around to telling me that she mailed the first disc back to Blockbuster. I, of course, decided to be overly dramatic just to freak her out. 'Twas a good time. (I knew she would replace it...which she is already in process of).

Well that's not great, but it is better than where you were before. Try the 1 before bed for a while. Then you can convince yourself that kicking a 1 smoke-per-day habit can't be that hard.

But, I'm winning.

I remember the "first thing in the morning smoke" was a really ugly battle. On the days I got past that I was good.

As to the patch, a while ago I posted pix from smoking and birth control patches. Today I add weight loss. I want y'all to look REAL close at the pix. I missed something obvious my first time around. But I think it may only be obvious in retrospect. Watcha think?

#1 & #3 even have the same border effect!!! How cheap is that?

(for those keeping score, #1 is for a Hoodia patch, #2 is for birth control and #3 is the (anti)smoking one.

Also got a better link for #2 so the color and cropping issue isn't so bad. Are we as consumers really this dumb to advertising cheats?

Hey all. I just wanted to mention that on the threat of bodily harm from my sister, I've posted my first ever fanfic in the Blue Sun Room, here: http://www.fireflyfans.net/sunroomitem.asp?i=16525 I do a lot of writing in my professional life, but mostly of the communications and tech types, not creative. I've been working on my creative writing style as a hobby for the last few years, and have found I really like writing fanfiction, because it allows me to work on my style without having to worry too much about creating characters from scratch. This is the first thing I've ever posted online, though.

Anyhow, just a small piece of me, if any of you are interested.

Wasn't much of an occasion FMF. You were initiating a new Forsaken and you gave her/him (don't remember who it was now) a "Forsaken T-shirt". I asked you why I didn't get one when I joined the fold and you comment was something about you not ever getting one either. So after that I changed my title to "The Shirtless Forsaken"

Glad you are doing better HK! Have fun being all full of energy and "happy" today

Preemptive hugs! I like the way that you think, man.

MSG mentioned having a field trip today. I hope to hear a little from her.

*Preemptive HUG* to all of the IW who will stop by.

While both may apply at times, my intent was to convey an abbreviated term for this threads members.

Edit: "While both may apply at times" more heavily weighted toward the former than the latter.

Morning, boys.

Pre-emptive hugs. Now, I like that in a man. Don't let me get a word in edgewise (like that would happen!) - just giving hugs.

I took IW to mean "Imponderable Coolerites" or something like that.

No need to hide behind the couch, Jimi. ( We know we can be insane sometimes...)

I need more coffee!!!! Jimi, that cup you gave me in your email is already gone! Once I get the cig addiction really far behind me...I may need to address this caffeine thing.
No promises.

Most addicted to drug in the US, and just about as bad for you as the next two in line.
