Gah! Painting man is about 6 feet away from me! One more pane and he will be right next to me!

I think a cleverly designed trip to Mom's organic market is in line. I will buy my beloved chocolate covered apricots, and some veggie chips.
Tonight is softball, so I won't be eating dinner until late.

*Good News! Husband has an "interview" tomorrow to meet the owners and discuss their needs. He called it more of a meet and greet rather than a sit down interview. Probably to make sure he isn't an axe murderer. (Usually, he isn't!)

I agree with the Shirtless One, LA. You may be able to do an accredited online program., depending on what it is in. Just do your research before you sign up.
Online colleges connected to universities are legit. I would have a hunch that Kel's online bartending school may be a front for something far more sinister...

Occupational Therapy Assistant (for children )

Kelkhil..I had thought of online training ..but there is alot of field and lab work needed..I thought a campus situation would be preferable..but I obviously don't have much choice..
And if i decide to go on to a Bachelor's degree..someone actually asked me for my SAT score
They want me to take core classes with the freshmen...

Mav...good luck with the hubby's interview..

I am going to start looking at online programs as soon as my nerves calm down a little..

Yup. Welcome back to school LA29!

Well you could get a lot of your classes done online right? The ones taht don't require a Lab or Field time.

SAT???? I never got asked for that on any of my applications. They just gave me a quick test to see where I was for my levels and off I went.

I think it is great that you are building on what you already do with your oldest son. I hope that you find the classes that you need. I'm sure that you will do just fine.

HUGS LA we need more like you so hang in there. Actually I would suggest you contact your local school district to see if they have alternative certification/ training for OT/PT in the schools. Most districts can hook you up with a good program that will work for you and they can even get you a job in the school before you are certified...Hang in there:)

Kel - in Mavs' defense, when you look up the word Jameson in image repositories she tends to come up a lot, Mavs was lookin for the image of the tasty tasty Irish whiskey.

That, or she's got some 'splainin' to do.

What a good question.

I personally like the maple-charcoal flavor of Tennessee whiskies like Jack Daniels, or the peaty/earthy flavor of single malt scotch. I don't know why (though I suspect it is 3/4 of my blood) I like Jameson so much, it just tastes so good, and goes down so smoothly.

In other words, it's hard to tell a person what kind to drink. Normally people will stick with what they know. I recommend branching out every now and again, you may find something you like even more.

Edit: JD doesn't do it for me. I can't say I've specifically tried Jameson, but I'm willing to make an effort.

GEE

hey guys, just about to head to bed and try to sleep, not tired but have to be up a 6 for a 2.5-3 hour commute to London tomorrow and really not thrilled about the drive given my tiredness at the mo.

Sorry to hear about the issues finding a school LA but sounds like a good idea and great area to work in so hope it works out. Keep thinking I'd actually like to finish a degree (have the credits for a HNC[1st year of a degree] in Audio tech & computer science and have a HND [years 1&2] in history & politics but would like to actually like to attack one properly. Always passed but kinda lacked motivation and never did myself justice. Of course having some kind of career plan might be an idea but nevermind, I'll leave that up to my infinitely surperior other half.

On the whiskey front, JD is my session whiskey and I tend to drink Jamesons with my old man but my favourite is a single malt called Fettercairn that I visited the distillery in Scotland a couple of years ago. Not too peaty and with a slight caramel edge without being sweet, smells as good as it tastes. Oh how much I miss drink right now, not a head but do like a sociable drink.

Finally, at the risk or ridicule and not wishing to google it, would this Jenna Jameson be a lady my Grandparents might refer to as a loose woman?

Since I know nothing about whiskey I do feel qualified to comment on that discussion (in fact I hide from the scarey drink of pain!) but I can give you my sympathy and support for the kids from hell. One of the teachers gave a kid a Cause For Concern form today (an official warning) and the lad took it him, ripped it up and ate it (all 4 copies plus carbon paper between)! I mean you've got to admire the commitment! Another of my 16 year olds told me today she was 3 months pregnant. I was sympathetic, steered her towards the councillor and then ran and hid! At least there was no blood and stabbing though. Will anyone get booted over the stabby incident or not?
Ah for a simple life!

Sorry for going into teacher mode again, will now switch off the day and relish my 5.5 hours of unconciousness! See you all tomorrow.

See I'm with RIMG I love Jamesons ( ok I can't spell what's your point)
HUGS RIMG it's ok the kids were just abnormally grouchy today and I'm a little short on sleep and consequently patience. So it's been a trying day ( plus there was that great moment in 7th when one student paid another to stab a third student and I had to patch up the stabee and drag the stabber and his money supply to the office and they pitched a fit the whole way there that they didn't do anything..I hate when they lie after being caught...makes me nuts) Anyway, I am off to tutor now and find my bliss ( or at least get the grocery shopping done and get 7 or 8 hours of sleep) HUGS to you all:)

Sweet dreams.
