OK which plot contrivance are you speaking of the whole Jenny going off to confront friend of fathers, the whole your father's really alive, or the Gibbs sucks as temp director?? Also, I love Abby and I am so glad they couldn't pull a fast one on her. I did feel sad for Tim when Abby said she loves him like she loves puppies and it's really obvious he wished she loved him differently...also glad Jeanne's co-worker said something to her about how she was moving too fast for Tony

Actually,

Select to view spoiler:

I was speaking of the man inserting himself into the taxi cab car seat and staying in there undetected by any of the forensics people examining the car - AND Abby sat in the front seat, directly where the guy's face would have been, and supposedly didn't feel anything weird about the seat. Come on! That's just silly. Of course she would notice. She's Abby!
I agree, I really felt bad for Tim. I don't know if I could see the two of them together, but it could be a fun story line. I have a snuggly place in my heart for Tim. I have a soft spot for nerdy fanboys...like him.
Jeanne's coworker struck me odd. Remember a few eps ago where it was obvious someone is stalking Jeanne? Could it be her? And do you think Tony will wimp out on the relationship next season or will something happen to her that causes him to rescue her and it forces him to an epiphany???

Sorry for the spoilage, folks. I've been dying to discuss this with MsG for a while.

ah I see yes I did find that odd, but possible depending on the padding, boards, depth and such. As for Tim, he's obviously been working out and all and I think he's always had a thing for Abby. They implied in 2nd season that he and Abby had been dating and it turned to friendship, but I am not sure about him dating Abby. First off Gibbs might not like it ( you know how Abby's his baby and all and he's so protective... that episode where the crazed fan had Abby at gun point the look on Gibbs face was incredible. I mean usually he just looks pissed/cold when he's dealing with a hostage, but when it was Abby he just looked scared as hell) Plus Gibbs would kill Tim if he hurt Abby so that has peril. I really like that they've made Tony more mature and given him a real relationship and I think they will let him keep it unless the whole stalker thing or her unusually committmenty behavior drives him off.

When Gibbs pointed his gun and demanded the guy get out of the seat when the cab was at NCIS's gate, the guy ripped the velcro and it was just a flimsy piece of upholstery that he pushed away. Oh, well. I thought it was silly that Abby would not notice the upholstery was stuck on with velcro.
I totally agree Gibbs would kill Tim if he hurt Abby. That's why when she was having the relationship with the little person, I thought it was perfect. Too bad the actor died. I'd like to see Tim with someone. He's just such a good guy.
I'm not a big fan of Lauren Holly as the Director. And I don't like the back story they've created between her & Gibbs at all. Blech.
And what about Ziva?

Ok we swear we will stop in a second it's just that Nico said not to ruin it for him and he's like 5 episodes behind so we're trying to be nice while still enjoying our discussion...giggle

that said

Select to view spoiler:

yeah I don't really like Jenny either. I wish she'd go away, but I think we might be stuck with her. I felt so bad when Ziva lost the jogger guy and I really think she needs a good interest, but that could get weird what with them all being involved. I'm glad we only have to see the Col. lady once in a while as I really don't enjoy her all that much. I'd think Gibbs and Ziva might be good, but it'd be too weird for them so I know they won't go there. It look like they were implying Ziva and Duckie had a moment, but that's just too too too weird to even think. Also, I cannot wait for Palmer and Li to get busted what with their making it in practically every part of the morgue( which says some weird stuff about them too) Gibbs is close to all his team, but I think Abby is his replacement daughter and she's pretty much all he really has so he's just massively overprotective since he lost his family. I just don't think he could handle the idea of her sleeping with Tim. He can barely handle it when she talks about guys. I am still not sure what I think of Jeanne as Tony's. MisterG is suspicious of her and thinks she might be dangerous. She's awfully quick to push Tony and she's got that horrible mother and I'm just not sure. She had a really manipulative look on her face when she was talking to that co-worker about Tony. Also I hate that the minute he seems a little hesitant she always turns it into a huge "you don't love me" deal..

Ok I'll stop now...and Mav just has to respond and then we promise to stop.. for now

OK so "blow me off boy" called me last night and apparently I have been too touchy, because he has been working really long hours. He goes to work at 4am.

I am going to let it go. I told him when he wants to have coffee let me know.

On to the really good news. I have hives. EVERYWHERE. As I was telling Lila this morning - Palms, in between fingers, ON my eyeball, eye.lids, feet basically all over. I am waiting to see if the old wives tale that said if your hives meet then you die. They are slowing spreading both sides, so we will see.

Lovely!

We must remember this is an international board. DTH is several eps of Dresden behind us in Ireland. I didn't realize Nico was a fan of NCIS. Excellent!

Last one.

Select to view spoiler:

Gibbs and Ziva? I would never in a million years even go there. I can definitely see her with someone "outside", like Jogger Guy (RIP). Kev & I have been discussing the possible plot lines for next year, not including the silliness that is Jenny's father being "alive."

1. Something happens to Jeanne, and Tony/Gibbs go into rescue mode.
2. Abby & Tim hook up, but it is waaaay under Gibbs' radar. He is aghast when he finds out.
(My personal favorite possible story line)
3. Li gets pregnant by Palmer. NCIS wedding. I mean, c'mon they've been together everywhere except the exam tables (ewwww) and hanging upside down from the ceiling - (Kevin loves Li!)

*Not a big Col lady fan, but she seems relationship pushy, too. *

OK, done. Sorry about that.

EDIT: FMF, I think the "Call me for coffee" response is just right. Non committal, but leaves the door open. Can we call him BMO Boy from now on?

What's the word on your living situation?
I do believe the word is "c**ksuckers."
Defined thusly: Management keeps pushing back the date where they decide whether or not they're going to release the remaining apartments from their leases. It's been over three weeks, now, and they've flaked on 4 "promise to let you know by" dates. Soon, the Post Office will no longer hold my mail, meaning I will no longer have a mailing address so I will no longer get my mail. Also, by dragging their feet on this, they've pretty much guaranteed that I will not be able to find a new place for June 1st, since May is rapidly going by. Since I can't stay at my friend's place for long (don't want him getting in trouble with his management, nor do I want to be put on his lease), I'm going to have to find that rock-star-hotel I keep thinking about. This means that my insurance company is going to be forced to fork out even MORE money for this, and I suspect they will not be happy about that. So, instead of hiring a personal attorney to help me out with this lease, I think I'm going to send the insurance sharks after my apartment management. ^^

That's no excuse. Does going to work at 4am prohibit him from letting you know (before you get "too touchy" about being blown off) that he has to work long hours and may not be available? Cuz, I mean, I go to work in the morning, too, and am still capable of planning. But, hey, maybe I'm too touchy, too. Still, he makes me want to shoot him in the ear with a rubberband gun.

Sucks on the apartment sh*theads, but good idea to put the insurance people directly in contact with them. You don't need to be the middle(wo)man/negotiator on top of everything else.

That is still totally unacceptable. Generalizations are bad and all but every guy ever would give up some sleep for a woman. And by some it could be just as much as it takes to send an email saying how he was thinking of you and wished he had some time off to spend together. That's not going to take more than a few minutes to type up and send. If he actually cared then he'd be more than happy to do it.

The lack of that kind of interaction tells me you're more of a convenience to him when he's all of a sudden got some time to kill. You deserve better than that.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Spider has happened to me.

I got ready to go to bed about a month ago, and when I picked up my nightgown (folded & freshly laundered) from a stack of clothes, a big fat hairy goober of a spider came running out. Thank the Gods I still had my glasses on. You woulda thought someone stuck a firecracker in my fanny. I ran out of the bedroom so fast. Husband came to the rescue, and promptly removed the offending yuckiness.
I couldn't wear that nightgown that night. It had to be laundered again!

EDIT: Hi CK! Yeah, being in CA you are a few hours behind me in the weekend department. I'm out in about 15 minutes...

Have a good weekend, Fly. See you Monday.

(I wanna know what Fly Jr's reaction to the Wii is on Monday!)

Who said anything about Fly, Jr.? It's Mother's Day on Sunday, not "Son"day on Mother's day...MsFly is the secret Wii wanting woman. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it.

And JQ, I'm still waiting to hear what you mean by that phrase...though or through...where are you going?

I need to go. Or at least slip out of loiter mode and into deep work mode.

Mavs, I think he meant passing through, like when he comes back to read more threads again, as we are all virtually just passing through sometimes. I think.

Wii may never pass this way again.

Are you saying you're happier when we're not here? (You know in keeping with all the oversensitivity we've all been suffering from)

HI NVG!!

Not at all JQ! I hate how quiet and lonely it can be on the weekends. I'm just sayin, that when it's a sunny Friday like this, and friends keep stopping by to say "I'm heading out, have a good weekend", it makes it feel like a half day or something. I still have another 5 hours or so to work, but it makes it feel like the weekend has already begun.

And to you that's a good thing? Today felt like the weekend had already begun by like 10am....it's not even 3pm yet and I'm going stir crazy!

Edit: have you played wii super monky ball at all? I feel like I want to get that game next, but I can't decide if I'm going to fly through it and be like "that was worth $50?"

When I'd be on the site again today. Know you're about to fly, too. And don't forget you can claim GrandMav status for more mom-day presents!!

I haven't played that yet, Zeek. I've been thinking about checking out GameFly to see if they have Wii titles yet, since both hubby and I seem to be pretty ADD when it comes to any Wii game other than WiiSports, heh.

I'll de-lurk to say it is all that and more. My wife wants a Wii. Has for a while. She has convinced my son to also want a Wii. This year FlyJr's birthday falls on mother's day. (Son-day) Like having planets align, it is an irresistible force. I find myself wanting a Wii for some reason. See how my wife works?

Let me present a graphic to indicate how I work, then how my wife works. Then you'll understand.

*Re-lurk*

Sure looks like it does. I'll send you a PM with more of my findings.

Seems like a good option for the ADD gamer. That's sorta what the wii is all about anyway IMO.
