Do you mean the humble release-party?

I was waiting for more response before finalizing anything. Now that it looks like it's only a small number of us, we can't really rent out a space.

SO...I'm offering up my pad! Friday, Dec. 12th, starting early evening after work. If that's a good evening for you, let me know. I can't do anything on Sat. night. I live about 5 minutes walking-distance from South Station downtown (South Boston).

(edit)The 12th is good for Radegund from the OB too--I hope it is for you!

And as I posted on the OB--I don't have a lot of seating so anyone else interested who hasn't posted, post now! I don't want to run out of room.

P.S. As for a REAL shindig, I don't know of any in the works just yet for Boston. It would be fun though!

A little bump for TS & Xenarc and anyone else in the Boston area!

Again, plan is to watch DVD's at my place (and the complete gag reel brought to us by Radegund)--December 12th (Friday night). Along with food and drink and a jolly good time.

I'm also coordinating the coat drive for the Boston area--so you can bring donations then. Or if you can't come by on the 12th, I'm happy to arrange for an individual pick up or drop off.

I said this in my email too, but we're having a small gathering tomorrow night (Dec 12th) in Boston. I'm sure there will be a larger, more "official" shindig in the New England area in 2004.

Well I had heard about it from one of the Farscape producers and saw it advertised but never had that channel. I heard some good things about it (of course heard some negative things but I am dubious of negative reviews). As fan of Farscape, like any other fan I am going to love my fav show no matter what, as I am sure Firefly fans to. I saw a cover of the DVD and it interested me as well, though I cannot say why the photo would peak additional interest.

As far as Dec 12th. Although Boston is only 1.5 hours away I work until 8pm on Friday night, so I am sure I would miss most of the gathering. If not I would consider driving down just to meet you all, even it if is for the first time. What better way to see Firefly for the first time than through the eyes of its fans.

I cannot respond by email till I get home from work. I am at work now (looks around to see if mgr's are watching)!!

As far as what else interested me, well, the talk in general, and I do like this kind of stuff. I have the feeling I will like it much better than the twisted remake of Battlestar Galactica which I refuse to watch or comment on (nuff said there).

Well, I will respond via email when I get home.
