Does anyone know how to easily rip the audio tracks from my Firefly DVD episodes so that I can listen to them on my iPod (or similar mp3 device)?

To clarify: What I want is the full audio track - meaning dialog, sound effects, and music - not just the musical soundtrack (which I have).

There are a number of rippers out there, but they all cost money (or are really complicated to use, and/or illegal), and I only want Firefly audio tracks--nothing else. Can anyone help?

I'm sure I am not the only person who would occasionally want to enjoy Firefly in the privacy of their own head (long commutes, airport delays, prison time, etc.)

Thanks for the response, msg, but as I stated, I am looking to make a full audio track, not the musical soundtrack (which I do own and love). To put it really simply, put an episode of Firefly on your DVD player, and then turn off the TV, and just listen to the episode.

Why would I want this? Well, as I said, long commutes mainly, but I also really like the dialog (and I don't need them fancy moving pictures to enjoy that.

I think you should be able to do this with the mencoder part of mplayer ( http://www.mplayerhq.hu/). It's free and will run on Windows.
