Ok the response to what stops the juggernaut just made my day

ON WHAT STOPS THE JUGGERNAUT:
Honestly, fatty foods. Every day, you tell him, “Don't eat them” and every day he goes, “I’m just going to have these onion rings. I'll be back in a few minutes.” Every day. It's his own fault.

it really makes it seem like serenity is over folks. If he is rewriting Goners and thnr that goes into production thatanother year out. And all the time the actors are getting parts in terminator and drive and stargate. Logistically it would be hard to get the crew back together at anyone itme. Just cant see how this could pan out anymore. Im sure i will get some "serenity isnt over" comments but where's even the slightest shade of hope now ?

You realize that there's really nothing new in this article, yes?

We've known since ages that Joss was working on Goners while he was working on Wonder Woman, and that one or the other was the next likely film project.

Don't see there being any less of a hope than there was a year ago. Yeah, some of them have TV shows, how many do you think will last (Stargate having been cancelled already)? And even if they last, there's haitus for other things. We've always known that Joss was planning to do Goners before another Serenity outing.

Not saying it's gonna happen. But it doesn't seem any less likely now than before.

I wouldnt worry about our bdh's other commitments, I dont think there to permanent....besides could they really start something any time soon anyway? Mrs. morphius is pregos.
I dont see this interview as an end at all
"I don’t feel like making a pilot and seeing if it goes. I feel like if I make something, it has to have a venue. Whether that is a low-budget movie, a DVD or TV with commitment to DVD, whatever it is, I can’t tell the stories nobody hears anymore. I’ve done that in my life."
that statement can be looked at many differenty ways

"And I think calling him that is an insult to the psychotic lowlife community."

all good points. but i think fan fever has reached its peak with dvd sales, if it was going to happen then it woud be around now that an announcement would be made. maybe not to film it but atleast slot it in. this time next yearit would really be like us flogging a dead horse calling for a sequel. i dont have any wish to be right on this issue, i would love to be proved wrong.

Yeah, there's nothing new but... who cares? It's Joss. His interviews are funny

Actually, I didn't know it was possible he might do X-Men 4. I should have, considering he was considered for XM3 and wrote Astonishing X-Men for the last few years.

Th point was in response to what I quoted: The impact of Goners and/or Wonder Woman on any futher Serenity has been known for ages.

And it doesn't say he might do X4. In fact it basically says the opposite.

Yeah, I didn't get to read the interview until after I'd posted. That's a shame. I'd love to see what he'd do with the franchise.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Cool interview. Thanks for the link FM. I enjoy reading anything from Joss.

Brownbug, you have to keep the faith. No definitive word doesn't necessarily mean nothing is coming in the future, just nothing right now. Keep spreading the word. Keep bringing new fans into the fold. We've got new comics on the way and if we keep pushing, there will be a continuation of some sort.

It's been 9 years since Babylon 5 ended, and 5 since the last TV movie, but it's coming back with a new DTV movie this summer. Been 7 years since the last Highlander movie, and there's a new one coming this year (too bad it really, realy sucks).

But waiting a few years doesn't mean it won't happen.
