But Magda (and FMF, too if you're still about) think of the possibilities! If you did you'd have a whole new bunch of men previously unconsidered by you to consider and they likewise would have a whole new appreciation of you! You shouldn't limit your options like that.

Thanks Jonny... I think... HANG ON!!! - do you mean that if I grow balls the whole gay male population will be an option for me???

You know your little sis ain't the only Bapper over here. You just say the word.

Well - this was about 15 years ago and though I recall it as something that hurt and something that came to mind when 'doormat' was mentioned - I do not hold grudges and I am well and truly over it - but I will keep it in mind for next time someone dares to take advantage of me in a similar way... thanks again Jonny

Well, can't really say where I've been or what I've been doing, but I'm glad to see that usual suspects are still around here. I'll be browsing around for the next little while, seeing what everyone's been up to.

Aaaaaaah! He's back!!! Chris is back!!! Lock up your Bambis!!!

R&R after three months? What the heck kinda army they runnin' over there? Pfft... in my day...

I love all of my friends - and that includes Tristan!!

Wow. I mean...wow. I suspected that this indeed was what was going on, Mags... to you both.
I'm so far outta the loop I can't even see the darn thing.

But that's ok, and what you wrote knocks my socks off. You are pretty damned spiffy!

Really quick...I have to close March in the computer...I'll be back later...Carson's birthday party went wonderfully. Everything went great, the kids had fun, no major problems. A good weekend all around.

And as for needing to lock up Bambi? I did indeed feel a disturbance in the Force here in Maryland...something was different. Now I know what it is...

Uhhhmmmmm...

'kay, sorry, I'm not a guy so p'rhaps I shouldn't answer but... I decree thusly:

Dooood's a dick.

As a guy, my professional and official guy reponse to this would be right along the lines of HKs thinking, though I think a few more choice words might be added. It sounds like he wanted instant gratification, and when he didn't get it, he got bored and his interest and attention went elsewhere. *hugs* What a dick.

Okay here goes. I broke up with my guy yesterday. I have yet to feel bad. Am I defective? Shouldn't there be something? We were friends for seven years before this.

Deer? Mmmmm ..... I haven't had venison in a while.

I did make a wonderful dish this weekend that I wanted to share with y'all. It was originally from my friend James, describing what he made for dinner last Wednesday night, with a little modification on my part.

Pork Chops Florentine

Salt and pepper both sides of a package of lean, boneless pork chops. Crush fresh rosemary and add it to a small plate with live oil. Dip both sides of each pork chop into the olive oil/rosemary mix, then place on grill to cook.

Cook a pot of fettuccine noodles. Toss in olive oil when done.

Make a white sauce. Start with butter and fresh garlic, then add heavy cream and flour as needed, also white wine (I am not putting measurements in here because honestly we didn't use them).

Rinse and sautee a bag of fresh spinich.

Add spinich to cream sauce. Place a serving of noodles on a plate, then a pork chop, then cover with the cream-spinich sauce. Serve with choice of bread and beverage.

Upon reflection, it might be sort of confusing, but I am gonna post it anyhow.

Forgot to mention... yesterday while walking towards the supermarket with my son, a man rolled down his car window and said "I love Firefly" - He must have seen my new license plate frame ( Mentioned over at the bar as well)

And here's a pic of my son, his cousin Hannah, and him showing off his new Mousetrap game.
I like the "Take the gorramn pic already" smile on his face!

LOL DTH and Mav...a thousand deer crying out and then were silenced..

Tristan- Oh HUGS and shush! We love you, you know we love you, now stop being silly. Sometimes we all do something we later feel bad about, stupid brain clogging moments...but that doesn't make you unloved.

CMH- oh good you are ok...we were worried. You should check in more! Glad you're on R&R though:)

Whitefall- plan fun silly things, go with your strengths. You can always ask her to meet you somewhere and do the date there. ( like meet me at the park and we'll fly a kite ...which by the way can be a really fun date) Do little thoughtful things like bring her flowers ( daisies and carnations are cute, fun , not too much, and cheap) do silly stuff like ( call parents first for this) cook her breakfast and serve it on a tray with a note and flower. Hope this helps:)

OK Men, answer this imponderable.

I have this profile on a singles site. Several months ago a gentleman contacted me and I responded. Then nothing. Out of the blue a couple of days ago he responds saying gee he is really sorry, blah blah blah but if I am the forgiving type he hopes to hear from me. SO I repsond with an email. He writes a short one back saying he has added me to his im contacts and hopes to hear from me. The next night I say hey on IM, he responds for a few minutes then has to go to bed as he gets up early, hopes to chat later. OK. couple of nights later I say hey again, we chat for a while then he has to go again.

And now nothing, So um WHY bother emailing me in the first place?

What comes to mind for me is that he's got you on the back burner. He probably sent out feeler emails or whatever to a bunch of girls on the site. He would obviously have a ranking in his head of who he's most interested in. Apparently one of them bit and so he immediately focused on them and left you hanging. That probably went south so he came back and picked up all the loose ends again. Maybe another higher ranked hottie bit again and he's throwing you right back on the back burner.

So, yeah like HK (who responded to a question to men btw) said, he's a dick.
