KANEMAN

A sad moment came and went today. My horse Mable died earlier this morning. She was the greatest horse a man could ever have. She loved apples, oats, hay, and an occasional cup of coffee(true). I received Mable as a gift when I was 15yrs old, and immediately became awe struck, not just by her beauty and grace, but her qualities that few men can ever posses... She looked upon all living things with love and respect. She loved to be out doors and around children. My Mable galloped like a Gazelle, and when kicked hard enough in her ribs could run like no other. So, the next time your children are gluing their art projects...say hi to my Mable.

Love always kaneman

I was going to say something snarky, just to lash back at Kaneman for all the snarky posts he's made. But then I decided that would just be mean.

Sorry about the loss of your friend, Kaneman.

I am truly sorry for your loss. I've certainly been there, more times than I'd like to count, and I know it's rough to go through. Animals aren't like family...they ARE family!

No one knows that better than me. Considering nearly all of my cats (and also my mom's dog), are in their late senior years and are now showing it, I'm close to going through it again.

Just saying that you want to say something 'snarky' is saying something 'snarky'...What you meant is mean. You are a creep Doncoat. Mable WAS BROWN you are yellow...have a nice day. My horse should not have to pay for your hatred....

Though I've never always seen eye to eye with ya Kane I can empathize just a bit. Our kinship to animals is what keeps us in the true line of men. Glad to hear your story of love. And proud to call ya a fellow Browncoat.

I'm sorry. Horses are beautiful, wonderful creatures and to have had one in your life and then lose it is a powerful, awful loss.

I'm sorry for your loss, Kaneman.

I have horses of my own and they are a joy and riding them is a high like no other. They are sentimental, kind animals and bring us closer to the earth.

I hope that as time passes your memories will bring smiles and not tears.

FM,
I appreciate every one's condolences, however you know me more than most on this board, and having the brownish in you to hugg me is really cool.

I may not agree with some of the other things you've said... but, that is for another day. Now, I just want you to know that I'm with ya in spirit on this'un.

Yeah, I'm sorry to hear about your loss, Kane.

We may have argued but that's neither here nor there. I wouldn't wish the loss of a family member (even a four-legged one) on my worst enemy.

May you have strength during this time of trial.

I am so sorry to hear you lost your best friend:(
but, I know she's running free in the Rainbow Fields, with all my cats and all the other much loved animals that have left us. I hope you have many pictures of her...did you keep some of her fur? When one of my favorite passes, I cut a small bit of fur, so I always have them with me.(its my way of getting by)
