I just received the first ( the FIRST ) email RSVP'ing to Carson's birthday party this Saturday. And it was a confirmation.
I invited 15 kids...and finally one has responded. Carson's a popular boy, but I think the other parents are lazy or have poor manners.
Last night I was in tears wondering how the heck I was gonna explain to him that no one said they were coming so we wouldn't be having a party.

Now we have a go for a pizza party!

Literally...I just had to go compose myself in the bathroom and fix my makeup because I was crying.

Whew!

NV- HUGS oh baby I can't believe you were being traumatized while I was all sickly...HUGS and much love. Ok that is it I have been very patient. That woman must be punished...this is way past scorpions in her mailbox..we have now moved to the total public humiliation and annihilation phase!!!

Mav- oh that's lovely. Glad tidbit's party's all set ( though I'm sure a ton of kids will show and you'll be cursing the idea of ever throwing a party soon enough)

Kelkhil, we're in the fifties today and so is the inside of the building. I'm afraid I just misunderstood what they meant by "New Climate Control System". The climate inside is controlled by the climate outside. There is no New Unit or somesuch. The windows are just open all year round. Period. It was such a simple solution I completely missed it!

Same here today. 50s and windy and cloudy.

Man what happened to the warmth?

Just got a call from Laurelin. It seems that our kitchen cabinets will be here on Monday. Man that is going to be a crazy week. I have wed - fri off so that I can gut my kitchen, replace a wall, hang new cabinets, put in a new floor, replum the sink, and die (I think I got it all).

Oh wait - I also need to rewire the kitchen so I can move the fridge, and install a new kitchen light. There now I got it all!

Thank God we are having the Water Softener installed instead of having to do that too!

Quick Good Morning to everyone.

Actually MSG there is some strange understanding and open communication in the works for the last few days. There is a strange peace in the valley for me right now (despite the cold wind and possibility of not making the day trip because of it). "She" is opening up more than I expected. I'm actually quite shocked. Despite my defenses being lowered they are not down. My goal is to never have to come back here complaning about stuff I coulda made different by simply speaking up.

HK- I don't grasp alot of concepts and wish to at least gain a vague understanding. There are alot of questions I don't know how to ask of some people and you present me an avenue to learn how. I mean no offense and apologize if any is taken.
