The site has "Serenity" following "The Train Job". I'm going to assume that's a mistake, and not that those jobbies at Fox have messed up the episode order.

Did anyone else notice that in the episode guide for Trash on the Dvd site they call the gun the crew is trying to heist the Mexican? wasn't it changed to the Lassiter(sp) in the version we've seen online? Think the dvd dudes were going off the original script (like the one on this site) and not the ep?

The foxstore site http://www2.foxstore.com/detail.html?item=960&u=1068160630 is also listing it as full screen. Person at Fox consumer is still saying that its widescreen and that the website always lists it that way. This is not true in the case of 24 which is listed as wide, but Angel season 2 is listed as full when it was released as wide. So hopefully this is just a case of marketing stupidity. There are a bunch of other things wrong on that site as well.

If it turns out to be full, I'm cancelling my order.

And the picture they have for Safe is from Objects in Space.

While I'm not 100% certain, I'm pretty sure the people who designed the DVD site (apparently a subcontractor who had very little assistance from FOX) asked for help on FFF.NET a few weeks back, so most of what's on there may be based on info found on this site. The same goes for the image of Serenity used on the DVD site. So, yeah, I wouldn't doubt that some of the info may be different from what was actually aired.

The site lists it as Full Frame which is kind of a misnomer. When I purchased the Angel Season 2 DVD set I noticed that it said Full Frame with a tiny 1.78:1 underneath it, indicating the aspect ratio. So Full Frame does not equal Full Screen.

I posted this info at Whedonesque.com as well and TaraDi who writes about and reviews Fox products has already got a copy and she said:

I have the set already and it is in the correct order of how Joss wanted them to air (Serenity 1st, then The Train Job 2nd) and it IS 1.78:1 widescreen

Hope that helps.

It's widescreen - see my review at www.scifispace.com/html/fireflydvdreview.php

Also, the order is correct on the DVDs - the Fox DVD site has several things wrong (not surprising, eh?)

I looked at it...It's sorta cool...In an odd way...I like it when Firefly was still on...The website was cooler and had more stuff...yeah... I didn't get to put all the little video-thingys on a CD, like I wanted too...That's what I get for being a procrastinator, I guess.

Keep on flyin'!
