Eek!

What does he do?

No great scar stories for me. Got scars, just no stories. All of them involved stupidity, however. Does anyone have scars that you don't remember how you got?

Kinda wondering that now myself Hobbleit =O

Scars I don't remember? yep, Running most of the length of my left arm. I was drunk, beyond that I'm not sure

Our criminal institutions are full of little creeps like you who do wrong things.
Many of them were driven to these things by a horrible force called Music.

Yowich!! He still rides and fixes, I assume? True bikers don't let little things like missing body parts stand in their way...

Maybe you were really mad at the person who gave you the ring when you ripped it off your flesh? preciousssssss

(snikker, snikker)

Just got this from a friend:

Sally was driving home from one of her business trips in Northern Arizona when she saw an elderly Navajo woman walking on the side of the road.
As the trip was a long and quiet one, she stopped the car and asked the Navajo woman if she would like a ride. The old woman got into the car.
Resuming the journey, Sally tried in vain to make a bit of small talk with the Navajo woman. The old woman just sat silently, looking intently at everything she saw, studying every little detail, until she noticed a brown bag on the seat next to Sally. "What in bag?" asked the old woman.
Sally looked down at the brown bag and said, "It's a bottle of wine. I got it for my husband." The Navajo woman was silent for another moment or two.
Then speaking with the wisdom of an elder, she said: "Good trade."

Something in a nice Zinfandel, I think...

Scars that I don't remember how I got them.....

I have one that goes halfway down my pinky that I've had since I was a young child and there seems to be no explaination how it came to be. The strange thing is my parents can't remember how I did it either, since they've told me about five different stories of how it happened.

Regarding scars
Hm. Yep, I have many. More than I originally thought. Self-inflicted, cat-inflicted, work-inflicted... all sorts of inflicting going on. Nothing terribly interesting. Only one that required 9 or 10 stitches, and that one I can still feel when I think about it. I *heart* them all.

Thanks, Rugbug. You reminded me of one of my most significant scars and the only one with a story.

I was living in an apartment at the time, some 20 some years ago. It was an extremely looooong building I lived at one end and the pitiful laundry (2 washers, 2 dryers and very cellar-ish) was all the way at the other. There were three or four "fire doors" breaking up the path. They all closed well enough but they didn't latch--something to do with actually needing latching mechanisms.

After about the fifth or so trip down the the hall (going back to the apartment) I was overcome by the giddiness that can only arise when the drudge of a task not often done bursts forth from your soul seeking release. I my case I decided to kickbox the firedoors to open them. (Really stupid in that I really could have hurt someone on the other side of the windowless barriers.)

One door, two doors , three...ow. I landed in a heap. I hit my head on the top of the doorframe. Should have just been a bump, right? Maybe if I had hit it on the way up. But in my exuberance, my leaps carried me high enough that I hit it on the way down. Splitting my scalp open. But I didn't realize that. Momentarily dazed, I made my way the rest of the way back to the apartment without incident.

I hadn't taken my keys along, and had to knock to get in. My roommate opened the door and immediately went pale. Head wounds are always good for gushy goodness (no spurting though, RugBug) and the blood had trickled down to my cover the top half of my face. Having long hair and the time that was always in my eyes, I hadn't the least idea of my appearance. My hand went up to the sore spot and sure enough: I WAS BLEEDING!! Actually I laughed about.

The outcome is an inch-long scar on the top of my head that since I didn't get stitches grew together in such a way that my hair grows in a few different directions right there make haircuts quite challenging.

Whew. That took much longer to tell than to happen. Best of all I was stone cold sober. No excuses.

Hi Mircea HUGS how are you sweety...things here have been a bit contentious, but have settled nicely.

Ok Jonny I feel bad, but I laughed:) I have a serious foot injury that has similar components ( the stone sober no excuse) but no where near as dramatic. I broke all 5 toes and dislocated the big toe joint spectacularly. I was walking down the stairs and when I stepped from the last step I somehow didn't extend my toes. They folded under my foot and I stepped down with my full weight on them.
