Shiny! And it's not "just" the Aussi SE, it's gonna have brand new stuff, like commentaries! And I hear there's gonna be different key art. :tongue: Yes. This is exciting news. Especially since Joss mentions that the regular DVD SOLD SO WELL. Hehe.

I hope its one of those long extended director's cut thingys with all the deleted scenes put back it. Generally that screws a movie up (Aliens Director's cut snore) but I can't ever get too much Serenity...or Firefly for that matter.

I think Joss said that the movie already IS the director's cut, because it is like he envisioned it. And I liked the Aliens DC much better than the regular cut!

Wow, this is AWESOME news! I bought the region 4 DVD specifically for the extra special features, but I can only play it on my computer because of the PAL tv system and the region 4-ness of the DVD. I held off on buying the US version for this exact reason. Now I can watch all those special features on TV plus even more!

So I guess we're gonna have to go super-crazy on those Special Edition DVDs in July and hope for the best. Which we'll probably do anyways, but we're gonna have to totally overdo it. Each buy several copies, spread the world, get the SE on the Amazon Top 10 etc. You know, what we do best.
