Wow that sounds great...where is this marvelous place???

SIGH I just added up the cost for my spring spa day and I have 5 weeks to make an extra $180. It'll be worth it though!

"Did he just go crazy and fall asleep?"

Well, it took a while (site being as skittish as HK), but I have been able to connect with one of my spies who sent me this picture of NVG's last drunk.

**WARNING - Graphic Image. Do not view on an empty stomach or without wearing own set of beer goggles!**

I wanna look inside your head. I hear it's an interesting place. Just wanna know what type of filters (beer goggles?) you use.

In my head I've been known to look like Daniel Craig. Or James Marsters...

My head is a wonderful place. Truly exotic and interesting. And occasionally messy. Well, all the time messy. It's a bit like my bedroom really.

But I'm not crazy. I've got a note from the doctor to prove it and everything.

There are quite a few of them around texas actually. But there are 4 in Austin.

I think I've got a friend lined up to go to the Buffy anniversary special with me. Did I mention that it's one episode from every season starting at midnight. Sounds like it will be an adventure.

I have a similar response to the coconut smell too Mavs. Some might have heard already but the ex loved coconut everything. That smell does good and bad things better not mentioned on a PG-13 board.

Drunken Revelrie: I don't have any stories of my own, considering I've never drinken to excess in my life (nor do I have either intention or ability to, anymore). I have, however, been around drunk people, and they are entertaining, if mainly the next day when you tell them exactly how many times you had to put their pants back on.

AH HA!!! That's an imponderable I've thought about a ton of times. It just came up recently too.

What's with women's beauty products and the power of nature? I was watching scrubs a few weeks ago and there was one hair dye with the "power of green tea" and then the very next commercial was some facial cream or something with the "power of shitaki mushrooms". What in the world does that do for you? Does some crazy sensor go off in your head like "ooooohhh I like to drink green tea. I should totally put it in my hair!!!!" or "mushrooms is yummy they must have great moisturizing properties!!!"

Can anyone explain? Do you guys go up and down the beauty isle going "hmmm what's better for my nails vanilla or apricot?"

You were busy trying to get yourself lit on fire. It happens.

Beauty products - cultural influences, idiocy (I am not accusing anyone here of that), and a good marketing campaign. I believe those are the main reasons the "natural" stuff sells. Plus, if it smells good... although one smell at a time is the best (if you're tempted to buy co-ordinating shampoo and conditioner, it's better - easier, probably less expensive - to find a 2-in-1 instead... but that's just me).

Just the smell of certain scents do things to me. Coconut equals the reminder of vigorous last attempt at love sex. Cucumber melon evokes similar memories with a much better outcome. Some small company actually made a linen spray that smelled of fresh cut grass. Now there's a memory better left to PM's.

Morning, Everyone!

The smell of apples sitting in a big bushel for a while reminds me of my Gra's home. It was built in the late 1700's in Massachusetts and smelled vaguely...old. Old apples remind me of her front hallway.

I agree about that fresh cut grass spray, NV.

I need coffee! Where's the coffee?

mornin' Imponderables.

JQ - great pic, and I am with you, I'd love to get inside DTH's head (or bedroom ) and look around.

They say scent is the strongest sense tied to memory, and it is the sense that we are the most sensitive to. Ami's preferred perfume was Amerige, and that stuff still drives me nuts. For natural smells, I like smelling like sandalwood, and Nag Champa is good too. :)
