I thought I would start a new thread before disappearing today, the current one is over 100 posts (and I am a little bored).

*puts on a fresh pot of The Good Stuff*

*lines up various shot glasses and highball glasses of various whiskeys, several pints of Guinness, a strawberry margarita with a sugar rim, an ice cold Coke in a glass bottle, a dirty martini, and freshly squeezed mango juice on the bar*

*sets up an omelette bar with an automated omelette chefbot*

Old thread is hanging out here:

While the northern hemisphere freezes, we here in the Antipodes continue to feel the heat. In some cases it's more extreme than others. Take, for example, one day late last week when I was woken up to a response page. I went to the fire expecting the engine to have overheated and not mush to deal with, instead, we got this:

Yeah, I saw that. And I'm with you. I mean the thing is, if he/she got the sewer pipe fittings, why torch the bus? If the object was to torch the bus, why stop and steal something potentially heavy while making your getaway?

I didn't hear anybody mention a new pot of brew, but there's always one here. Um, there better be...Oh yes, there it is. Jimi made us some. In fact I even had some. *pauses, mystified* I better have some more right away...

Simple Jonny and Mav ...you steal from the bus and then set it on fire to remove all fingerprints, and other evidence as well as delaying people from entering the bus to figure out what, if anything, was taken. Slows everyone down and makes the court case harder to prove... unless of course they're amazingly stupid and keep the clothes they were wearing or the accelerant they used:)

So can I have a really big cup of coffee??

PR hmm darlin I think distracting a firefighter might be some sort of misdemeanor... however as hot as you are I am sure you do it all the time unintentionally, so go for it:)

Hehehehehe... Much as I wish I could claim that little crime, I haven't managed it even with one that's 'mine' (though to be fair I am mostly a computer screen at this point and can't throw his pager across the room or anything...) so I doubt I manage it with many others. They're very focused. Which is both wildly attractive and a liiiiiiittle frustrating.

The big thing I don't understand about arson is that a lot of people seem to claim/think it's because they 'like fire' but I like fire and wouldn't do something like that. If you like fire you want to watch it, not torch a bus and run away with sewer parts...
Probably was a thing about destroying evidence. One of our own Browncoats and a dear friend of mine (you all know Whims?) got caught in a fire that was set to destroy evidence. rat bastard

*edit* Poor Mavs! I know it sounds a bit gross, but if I really had to go and it was all fluid, I wouldn't worry about when I could flush the toilet. It would just be too far to anywhere else...

The closest I can come to answering that is it's like people who love animals. There are those that really care for them and there are those that "love" to torture and kill them.
