"We interrupt this birthday thread with an important etiquette question."

I've always wondered, is it appropriate to do a firsties dance on a birthday thread? Or a welcome thread? They never teach you these things in Firefly Finishing School...

"Now back to your regular posting."

Funny. I was just wondering if being firsties meant I get cake.

Happy Birthday, Hobbleit!!!
Have some cake! ---->
(We tried to get it as chocolatey tasting as possible)

While we blow the noisemakers to get everyone's attention! ----->

Hope it was a happy one!

And now for something completely different...

No problem so long as it's done tastefully and you first give proper birthday greetings to the birthday celebrant.
