Don't squat with your spurs on.

As I was watching The Empire Strikes Back I noticed Boba Fett's ship looks alot like Jubal Early's. Any one else catch that?

Early was based on Boba Fett, as Joss states in the commentary

Yup. Joss did mention that in the commentary. Something about Tim saying "Boba Fett" to him, "only not." Obviously a model. If the Fett had talked more, I imagine we would have seen a fun character as troubled but no necessarily as fun as Early.

TRIVIA TIME!!!

What is the name and model type of Boba Fett's ship?

Named "Slave 1," Fett's ship appears to be a hand-me-down from his father/clone Jango Fett. While pulling a job on a Prison moon, Jango stole a ship during his escape. Only 5 of these FIRESPRAY prototype police-chase ships were produced and all but the stolen vessel were subsequently destroyed when the Prison hanger blew. [Information obtained from playing the "Star Wars: Bounty Hunter" PS2 game.]

Ooooo... creepy, eh? A FIRESPRAY... in the FIREFLY 'verse?

Nah, there're dozens of Firesprays around (at least by the time of the Rebellion. Jango's could've been an early production model or something).

Eamon Azzameen flew one called the Andrasta in XWA.

Indeed, the Firespray is probably one of my favourite ships to fly out of any space sim I have played... Just a great ship

Yep, very creepy.

In my defense regarding Joss' commentary. I've never been one to listen to the commentary on DVDs. Gives me a strange feeling kind of like the one you get when people talk at the theater.
