Hello all,

I just downloaded the OSX screensaver from www.serenitymovie.com but it will not work on my Mac Mini----I am assuming because I have the Intel version. Has any other Mac users run into the same thing?

Thanks

Michael

Hey TheBigo

I have a mac mini and I've had no problems running the screen saver. What version of OS do you have? I must admit I'm not running with Intel though so maybe that is the factor - Have you tried both versions?

If someone that is running a PPC Mac can and one that is running a Intel Mac can't, then the program probably wasn't compiled as a universal binary. The only thing that can really be done is to contact the maker and try to get them to compile a screen saver with both i386 and ppc as target architectures.

This is trivial to do as it is either checking a couple extra boxes or filling in "i386 ppc" in an input field (I forget which one as I compile on the command line and not through XCode). I know that there is a "step by step" on how to do this on Apple's developer site. So, no excuses

Good luck
