Hello guys!
Magda, I'm so jealous that Christmas is so much closer for you! We have to wait like, at least 11 more hours! Well, have fun singing!
I honestly think that I am the only one here right now.....it's kind of unsettling, all this quiet...

Wow! It isn't often that I pop on to FFF.net for the first time in almost 24 hours and find just one post on the Imponderables - Hello ASorta!!

It is almost all over here, though I know most of my Imponderable friends are yet to wake up!!

Thought you might like to see my celbrating in my Kaylee Jacket!!

Hope your day is warmer then mine - we're having a cold snap and although the rain is so very welcome - none of us was quite prepared for the coldness of it all!!

Happy Christmas everyone!! - Magda x x x

I just know if I even try to catch up on that thread I'm going to miss about another dozen posts, and possibly a new thread. So instead I'll just wish you all a very merry Chrisyulekwanzakah!

"Did he just go crazy and fall asleep?"

(or the day after, my friends in Oz.)

I am SO sorry I missed the discussions about westerns. I was practically screaming at the screen, "20 Mule Team Borax!" After Ronnie's tenure ran its course, Rory Calhoun, er, took over the reins.

Two that I didn't hear mentioned here are the Rifleman with Chuck Connors and The High Chapparal. I remember a lot of the shows you mentioned and at least heard of most of the rest. Between Christmas memories and TV Western memories, this was a fun thread to catch up on if not participate in.

ASorta, thanks for putting "Having a wonderful Christmas time" in my head on endless loop. "...the children sing their song, they practiced all year long..."

JtD, being first isn't so bad. Merry Christmas right back at ya.

To the rest of my presently absent Imponderers, hurry back to the site: we miss you. Family will wait!

"Well, here I am...Does that seem right to you?"

Hello JonnyQuest:

So many TV westerns and movies. They are rain falling from the sky. "The High Chapparal", how could I let that one slip my mind. It was one of my favorites.

I just finished watching Jodie Foster's "Contact".

I think I will make her movie a Christmas tradition.

I am sure there will be more Imponderables shortly as the Christmas day passes and we return to what each of considers normal existence.

I aim to make contact

Jodie Foster has been amazing in just about everything she's ever done. I think she'd be a grand tradition! Check some of her earlier stuff and see if it ain't so.

I'm going to check out for a while so have the bestest Christmas, Traveler. It's always a pleasure.

(Raining here too. Unseasonably warm. Meh. It's okay by me. There will be plenty of snow in the new year I'm sure.)

Yay - firefly friends!! Happy Christmas to you all!!

Hello dearest Traveler! I love that film - we did a project, when I was studying for my youth leadership certificate, where we had to use several clips from a film to teach a lesson and I used Contact... it was a really easy one to use actually with all the personal stuff she works though - but it is still a good film none the less... not to mention that I get to drool over Matthew McConaughy (or however it's spelled)

HI Johnny Q! Happy Christmas to you too - I hope you and MsQ are having a blast today!!

Got to go to a Boxing Day BBQ now - so forgive me if I seem to disappear for a while!!

Wait. Jacket? What about a jacket...? Where'd you get that?

Traveler - I'm attributing the nice Milwaukee weather to you. Thanks, and good job!

Traveler, I love Contact, and Jodie Foster. I think it would be a good Christmas tradition to start.

JQ, wish you had been around to chat about Westerns. We might have to do it again sometime.

HK, you are so full of spice - giving Magda a hard time about her Kaylee jacket. You always keep things poppin'.

Magda, hugs and kisses.

James you might have been the 1st to wish every one a Merry Christmas, but I'm going to try and be the last. Is there anyone out and about on Christmas night?

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Hey James - I forgot - did I not wish you all a happy Christmas before it was even Christmas there?? (but it was Christmas here...?)

Oh! I am so sorry Hells Kitten - didn't I mention my shiny new jacket - Kaylee clone given... Tristan built? Just in case you don't remember it all here's another view of me on Christmas Day...

I suppose some of us just have to make do with the original costumes... while other's receive a real, honest to goodness Tristan-built one!!

Goodnight Kaylee Clone - I am so glad you had an awesome day!
