Ok. I have to admit, I've been using Lost to fill the void that Firefly has left (and failing, but at least it's a bandaid). Anyway, not having access to cable or dish, I'm reduced to purchasing/renting/borrowing copies of the past two seasons. If that's not sad enough, I've been reading recaps because I just want to know what's going on.

Enter Television without Pity. This stuff has me laughing. Tears streaming down, ache in the cheeks, my sides are starting to hurt laugh. Seriously. (but then I may not have much of a sense of humor).

Ok, so why am I mentioning this here? Because after a while I thought: "Geez, I wonder if Firefly is here, and if so is it as funny??"

So just a brief recaplet for "Jaynestown": Jayne's the one / who likes all the pretty songs. / And he likes to sing along, / and he likes to shoot his gun. / But he don't know what it means, / he don't know what it means, / 'cuz he's a goon.

Yeah, it's not the same, not by a long shot... but these writers are funny, and I've been getting one hell of a kick reading the episodes from a different point of view (kinda like fan fiction, but not really since it's just a long synopsis of what JW already wrote). Anyway, hope someone, anyone will enjoy this as much as I have.
