FWBBROWNCOAT

Hey All, your local Northern Florida Browncoat here. It's been awhile since I posted, I've been quite busy with work, school, and all the likes. A couple of Firefly related notes:

First, I'm in the military. On the end of a 12 hour night shift, I pulled out my PSP, and put on Serenity, just to watch while I ate my MRE. Before I knew it, I had about 6 co-workers behind me, just completely engulfed in the story. You know the true power of a movie when you have that many people watching a 5 inch screen. As for other news, I just picked up the Firefly Official Companion this weekend, and I am enjoying it very much, if you own the one for Serenity, I suggest you get this one, more great info, interviews, pictures, and all. It only covers the first 6 episodes, so I am greatly looking forward to Volume 2!

Last monday, I was off from work, I woke up earlier than usual, about 8, and couldn't go back to sleep, so, I decided to channel surf. I turned to SciFi, and to my pleasant surprise, it was a Firefly Marathon! Can't remember the exact number of episodes shown, but, it was nice to see my Big Damn Heroes on the small screen, and not in my DVD player.

Pretty excited about the 'Versary. In our dorms, we have a movie room, I plan on making Serenity go viral, playing it at least once on the 30th!

I know I didn't make too big of a splash on the board during my previous stay, but, I hope to keep in better touch this time. Fellow Browncoats, you're truly an inspiration to me, and I look forward to hearing from everyone.

Keep it flying...

You know what, FWBBrowncoat? You're an inspiration to all of us! You're in the military and you're spreading the signal. Good for you.

I certainly can't top that.

That's outstanding. I'm glad that this kind of entertainment can even find a place on military installations.

Nice to see ya back, FWBBrowncoat!

Wow, I gotta agree, in the military and finding time to recruit others! That is just SHINY!

Just picked up the FF OC myself yesterday. It's just great.

Stay safe!
